I have been searching for an environmental protectant to use under my moisturizer, and this one is perfect. It was recommended by Katie Jane Holmes on YouTube. It is light, goes on smoothly, and dries quickly. Additionally, it works well with many different types of moisturizers, foundation, and concealers. A must have for anyone who is skin conscious.

My experience with Ren Perfect Canvas Smooth is that it does indeed plump skin and minimize fine lines. The formula is similar to a thin serum and it absorbs into skin quickly. It does have a light coconut scent but it is pretty subtle and doesn't linger long. I don't find it offensive at all, but I also happen to like coconut. The only thing I don't really like about the product is the way the bottle dispenses the product, I think a pump would be easier to use. The photos show the instant results on my hand. I won't say I notice lasting improvement- to me the effect seems to be temporary. But it does help minimize fine lines in mature skin that makeup has a way of making look worse. I probably won't use it daily because it's an added step, but it is nice to have in the arsenal for those days I want to make the extra effort.

Glass skin in a bottle. Best thing ever for makeup prep (coming from a pro MUA). I have one for myself and one for my kit. Never get rid of this!

This arrives really nicely boxed. Now, remove this glass (wow!) container from the box and recycle that box. First, the glass bottle is super classy! Loving that! Then, remove the cap and pull away the sturdy, silver seal. That seal ensures a clean delivery and such a fresh product! It's a small gesture that means so much!And, the light coconut fragrance is so nice! I am totally loving that! And, when you put this on a cotton round, you will see that it is fairly viscous. Now, gently wipe the cotton round over your face. It will feel so refreshing and so nourishing. If I applied this with my eyes closed, I would know exactly the areas I missed because my skin just feels so different after I use this.This is amazing as an essence! Use it right before your serum and moisturizer. Amazing!

I've been using this essence for a few weeks now. It is a little different from most others I have used; the texture is thicker and when applying it, it turns white in some areas before it dries down almost like a soap. It reminds me more of a k-beauty AIO than an essence.With that being said, I do like the product. It leaves a good moisture base for the rest of my routine. It also have a very light and pleasant scent. It doesn't seem to irritate my skin.As it is thicker, you will want to apply less than with most essence. I would get this again.

I picked this up for my GF since she already uses some of the REN line of products. Her comments:This essence... Where do I begin.... Wish they could make bottles big enough you could shower in it!!!!It's a slightly thicker consistency so all you need is a few drops for your whole face and neck. It works in quickly and dries slightly tacky for a few seconds. Then BAM!!! softest plumpest skin you've ever had!!!It's absolutely amazing! It has brightening ingredients , looks impeccable under make up and makes you feel like a goddess. I swear my skin looks years younger just after a few weeks of using it.Absolutely worth every penny and that's coming from a skincare junkie that probably has 14 different essences in rotation right now. All of them are currently gathering dust and I will definitely never be without this one!!!

Clear skin plumping essence. Slightly gooey texture out of the bottle but not sticky once on the skin. Skin feels smooth and plumper, helps make wrinkles disappear. However it has a distinct scent to it, almost like coconut, that I don't like and is a bit cloying. I wish this was scent free because the ingredients and the premise of a plumping essence is so nice.

It’s a glycerin based lotion, great for dry skin, not just face and neck but knees, elbows and heels. Having a glycerin based lotion is great for moisturizing the skin. A little goes a long way. It virtually has no scent to it which is great. The only thing that I wasn’t a fan of was the glass bottle is heavy and there is no pump.
