My 6 years old AcuRite 5-1 died so I purchased this weather station. It has very nice colored display with all the needed weather information. The outside sensor feels solid and is much better build compared to the AcuRite sensor. The WiFi and web connectivity is a bonus that allow you to track this station from the internet by using services like Weather Underground and/or Weathercloud.

***UPDATE:*** RAIN GUAGE IS LOUSY it records much LESS rain than what has fallen - when areas around us record more than an inch, this rain gauge records less than one tenth of an inch. I have checked several times and nothing is blocking the collection of the rain. ---------Was using Oregon Scientific weather station for 15-20 years which finally gave up the ghost. Did my homework and chose the Sainlogic equipment. The sensor array is compact and easily installed. In my case, our neighborhood has a pretty strict Home owners association which does not like flag poles, unusual colors, etc. This unit is was easily installed in an unobtrusive location and manor (see video). The information provided by the system is as much as any armature could hope for. Setup is not difficult, but if you do have an issue, the customer service from these folks is very helpful.

UPDATE 120125: Sainlogic reached out with sincere desire to seek OFI, opportunity for improvement. Worth two more stars and I look forward to updated user interface.Weather station seems to perform admirably, but the setup could have had more flexibility by using an electronic offset rather than physically orienting the station.Display too small for people viewing 1.5 m. away (measured).Poor flexibility for customizing display coloring, perhaps emphasizing the what things you look at most often, such as TIME.Poor hanging options; should be one hole, not two due to more complex alignment required for DYIer.What brings return customers for the rest of your product line, is to wow them with the little details.Have a checker with consumer product experience to review your designs; it's worth the extra money.

I had this for a short time and could never get it to fully function, nor could I get it to connect to my home’s WiFi. It would also quickly burn through the batteries. I’m feeling very disappointed, and I returned it for a refund. Not recommended.

Works great enjoying it easy set up

I like the screen and the info it displays, for the most part things like temp and humidity are fairly accurate but it’s been extremely difficult to connect to my phone even after contacting their customer service and the rain gauge is absolutely useless. It just poured at my house on and off all night and it still says 0.00. Really wish we didn’t buy this brand and that we could return it for something different.

I've always wanted a high quality weather station that is fully functional. I found this one and I'm really happy with it. I chose this weather station This weather station offers a variety of sensors that provide me with the information I need quickly and accurately. Right out of the box. Once you are done here, the fun begins. This weather station came in very handy during our experience with Hurricane Debbie. Keeping track of the 4 inches of rainfall we received was easy to monitor from inside the house.

Do not like the fact that the rain gauge "cups" fill up with pollen/etc causing the cups to stick and not measuring the rain I should not have to clean them ever day in case it rains there made of cheap plastic and DO NOT self clean when it starts to rain my last weather station was 15 years old and never clogged up sorry I changed brands
