The Adventures of Otto Collector's Set (Boxed Set): See Otto; See Pip Point; Swing, Otto, Swing!; See Santa Nap; Ride, Otto, Ride!; Go, Otto, Go!

I have a 5 year old who loves books but was struggling to read more than basic CVC words, so we were directed to these books by a librarian. My son has devoured them. Some early readers still have quite a few difficult words, enough that he would feel frustrated. These are just right. Fun story, great illustrations, loveable characters, sight words, and word repetition. My son excitedly read four of them to our librarian today, and he reads them in his own at home as well. He loves little Otto, and also Pip. I bought this set, but have also just ordered other Otto books not included.

i was looking for something similar to beginner dick & Jane books and this fit the bill perfectly. My 4 year old daughter was happy to find she could read these with only a little help, and my kindergartener enjoyed them easily on his own. The characters are endearing and the stories are compelling. These are normal sized books too, not like the phonics boxes. The box also has a little Velcro tab and a handle, very easy to put the books back in, which was also a big hit with the littles. I would definitely purchase again.

I bought these to help give my daughter confidence in solo reading. She could already read everything in them, but they helped make everything so overwhelming. She starts kindergarten next week and is now reading on at least a first grade level, but she won't let us give these away. she still loves the stories and illustrations.

These books are great for a beginning reader. We found at the library but my son wanted to get "Go Otto Go" every time so we decided to buy. Repeats a lot of words which helped him learn words that are not in the sight words list. The illustration is fun and expressive so even as he is reading the book he has more to talk about because of the pictures. Highly recommend.

Most early readers aren't actually easy for kids to read but these are truly "easy readers" great for beginners with simple words and repetition. The stories are cute and hold my sons attention encouraging him to continue reading.

Perfect for our robot-obsessed 5 year old who’s learning to read independently. He’s only shown an interest in us reading to him, and getting him to do it was a struggle until we got him these. He loves that they come in their own collector box too! Perfect reading level for very early readers with high interest stories/pictures.

My son has not wanted to learn to read and these books have been wonderful. Great pictures, simple repetitive words. The books have great stories even though it is using few words. Would recommend to any parent that has a reader that is just starting out.

My kindergartener loves these books. They’ve been a great way to get him reading, since he loves robots and animals, which feature prominently in these books.

Como madre y profe, recomiendo estos libros para asociaciones de letras y palabras, aparte del uso fónico.A pesar de que mi nene de 3 años entiende y habla inglés, estos libritos le hacen querer leer por SI MISMO!!!No se trata de la dificultad del texto, como de la iniciación a la lectura. Son perfectos!

Great first set of books. Words are all very basic with plenty of repetition to reinforce the words. My kid loved these.

These books are amazing. My two young sons love learning to read with Otto. They are wonderful books!
