I was surprised at how long the battery lasts - more than enough for a large lawn 200' x 30' Very pleased with the mower. The instruction book is a tad confusing and the assembly of the grass box needs to emphasise that the rubber strip has to be properly clicked into its guide otherwise it will come apart when full of grass. Otherwise brilliant!

Built like a tank, has self propelled if you need. Lights not sure needed but hay ho. Which have this as top rated and they are correct.

Hubbys new ' toy. Easy to assemble, works great, and the self-propulsion with adjustable speed is a nice feature.+) Cuts grass well and has great battery life+) Cordless and easy to store with compact design+) Convenient full bag indicator and good maneuverability-) A bit pricey, but hubby thinks it's worth it-) Still louder than expected not as quiet as advertised-) Could use swivel wheels for easier turning

Having seen this as a Which? Best Buy, I ordered one and the speed of delivery from Mower Express was exceptional - ordered on the Wednesday afternoon with an anticipated delivery of Friday-Saturday: it actually arrived on Thursday morning. Superb service.Having observed the NO MOW MAY suggestion, I was faced with three very large lawns which more closely resembled meadows. I did a first cut at the highest setting followed by a second at the 3rd highest and the mower coped brilliantly with both. The grass collecting box is also excellent, filling to and even over its 100% capacity. The battery lasted about 45 minutes before charging for about an hour - so planning required a little extra but it gives a great break to do some other gardening. Overall I think it's superb!

I bought this lawn mower because I had read good reviews and also because I liked some features, for example being self-propelled. Unfortunately, as I unpacked it a rear drive wheel fell off. The cause of this was not just a loose crew or something obvious: the inner hub was trashed. So the machine was useless. There is little else I can say except I could only give one star, and I am in the process of returning the machine. Obviously I now have uncertainties about EGO durability, and I intend to replace it with a brand with good reliability ratings. I shall be interested to see if other reviewers have had durability problems with this machine. This mower was a obviously repacked (returned) mower as it was not in an Ego box. The item had not been checked as OK - so EGOs return system is at fault.

Excellent mower. Was unsure whether a mower could manage our medium sized lawn which has a noticeable slope but should not have worried as this machine coped easily. First cut of very long grass was much easier than normal and achieved without needing to recharge the battery. Much lighter than a petrol mower and more manoeuvrable. All in all a good purchase.
