I used to have one that had like tripod legs and it would take up a lot of space but this one is very slim and super sturdy.

Bought this as I had a PVC stand I made years ago that was too big and didn’t travel well. I bought this for its ease and it comes in a carrying case! I absolutely loved it, very easy to put together and so great with how adjustable it is. Used here for the first time for my SIL bday. The quality is great. However I was sad to see that when my home flooded from hurricane Helene that it started to rust. I clean it off with fresh water the best I can and dried it off. It’s in storage now, I hope it holds up as I truly love this stand.

There are better ones out there. I bought this for the flat bace but you really need to add weights over it or screw it into the ground... the metal frame was not very "Heavy Duty" and if you are going to use a backdrop spandex cover, this does not work well since it doesn't have the crossbar at the bottom so the spandex cover which needs to be tight over the frame, ends up pulling the frame legs together so you end up with a tapered look. I also felt that the twist and expand feature of the top cross bar was lousy and difficult to use. I do not think this is a good product. It might be okay for someone who doesn't mind dealing with those annoying issues I mentioned but I certainly don't have the patience for it so I had to return the item. The carrying case is also cheap quality. I can see it tearing within a few uses. I appreciated that it came with the backdrop clips and don't need to purchase those separately but that would be the only positive thing about this stand.

Arrived on time. Box was damaged, but the product was not. It was very easy to assemble and take down and I love the carrying case. I am so happy with my purchase!

Good for starters, worth the money but the only thing is, when I went to use it for the first time yesterday to set up a backdrop, the two ends wasn't secured they came off the pole. Also one of the stands top, when I lift it, it was leaning like it was going to pop. I wouldn't get of your using for backdrop but for other things.
