29/08/24 - I've found myself using this far more often than thought and I've decided it's not as redundant as my initial thoughts (I've added an extra star).I bought this because I bought the system and I fancied it. It is wholly compatible with the Xbox X Series, though sometimes the directional buttons don't work on the first press - which I blame on a design flaw related to the depth of the directional circle and the ridge of the remote casing itself. The backlit controls are a nice touch and are motion sensitive.Now, that being written, let's get on with what's really important to know - YOU DON'T NEED IT.The supplied wireless controller is more than capable and taking into consideration how much time it will spend in your hands it'll be easier to familiarise yourself with it too.

This remote has done exactly what I needed to do. Lightweight and has all the buttons needed to controller the xbox media without the need to use my controller

The product is misdescribed. There is no Xbox logo. As per the advertised picture. The centre button does not light up. The unit is brittle light and cheap. Do not buy. Amazon should not allow advertisers to place fake adverts on their platform.

Yeah this is cheaper than the official remote, but man do you get what you pay for in terms of reliability. I only replaced my Xbox One remote because it was aging after 10 years of use and some of the buttons had gotten spongy, but even so - the console would register input from almost anywhere in the room.This cheapo replacement requires DIRECT, unobstructed, perfect line of site before it registers input. It's fine if you have the room and direct line of site, but otherwise it is considerably less receptive than the officialial remote.

Amazing remote, add batteries and your good to go, it also has a sensor in so as soon as you pick it up the buttons light up! Top product!
