Blonde — beautifully made.
Needs fret work and set up. Buzz spots. 42mm nut width. Neck is very flat shaped, not good for big hands. Pickups sound bright and sparkling on 10 but when you roll off to 8 very dull thick sound. I will put in higher quality pickups. Very well balanced and light weight. On 10 it sounds like a Casino. Instant Lennon!

For the money, a great instrument!
Had to take it in to get the intonation taken care of and the action lowered a bit. Plays like a dream and look forward to years of enjoyment.

Fair guitar but Epiphone Les Paul is a much better built instrument
Last year I purchased an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Koa and was astounded at how good that instrument was for the money since I have a Gibson SG, Fender Strat, and a Fender Telecaster (Pro II). For 1/3 of the price, their Les Paul was very close to the quality and sound of these more expensive instruments so I was anxious to get my new Casino. However; it is not nearly as nice. (1) as others have mentioned, the jack is very flimsy and if you're not careful, you could break or crack the body unplugging (2) the tuners are cheap - not the quality or precision of the Grovers on the Les Paul (3) one of the main features of the Casino is supposed to be its sound and volume when unplugged - my Les Paul is as good or better (4) the sound of the instrument and it's playability would be improved if the strings it came with were better, very cheap feeling (5) the instrument feels very delicate, particularly the bridge assembly. (6) it's nice it included a gig bag, but as cheap as that is, I wish they would spent the money on better tuners.I don't want to discourage anyone from buying it or say it's "bad" - it's a nice guitar; it's just if you're going to spend this much money, an extra $50 - $100 will buy you a much better instrument from Epiphone.

Good but buzzes on one fret
The guitar looks great, feels good, however, there’s an annoying buzz on the second fret. I’ve tried raising the action as well as heavier strings and it’s still buzzing on that fret. Also, it’s hard to pull out the cord.

Flawless
Setup was good right out of the box. Came with a gig bag, but I bought a nice Epi HSC for it. Never put hollow body in a bag!
