Light weight and bright!
The main reason for this purchase was to avoid having to lift standard plates up to put in the cupboard. I have a bad right arm and it pains me to lift anything of any weight at an upward angle.My family still prefer the old dishes, but for me they use these to save me from the pain! Good deal and work for me.

We use these almost every night. I bought a stack of them. They are sturdy and they look very nice and they hold a lot of food!

antique finish on the plates makes them look like they've been around a long time.
My wife loved them so I am happy as well. If you are looking for melamine plates that look brand new, these are not it. They have "abrasions" that make them look somewhat old, which my wife found charming. They are durable and firm when handled.
