They work !
I bought these to keep track of my tv remotes that I always lose, unfortunately these are put up in the storage closet waiting for another purpose because these are to big for a tv remote. I won’t give a bad review because they do the job they were intended for and that’s finding whatever you’re trying to find by emitting a sound by clicking the find button that coordinates with the device.

Simple yet effective key locater
❧ Good range -- the radio range is pretty close to earshot range of the beeping noise❧ Won't spill your beans to big (tech) brother -- no tracking, it's just a radio-controlled key-chain beeper❧ Simple & un-complicated. it does one thing, and it does it well.❧ Won't help you much if you actually lose something, but it can help you determine if you actually lost it, or if it somehow slipped into some bizarre spot that you wouldn't find otherwise❧ Works well if you misplace your keys/wallet/whatever around the house/car/office/etc often. It's seriously a huge time-saver for me. Where's my wallet? in the couch? underneath my car seat? in a pocket of a dirty pair of jeans? somewhere else entirely? in my pocket? in my other hand? Being able to push a button to find my "losables" without having to go crazy trying to find them is a huge deal for me. My expectations were pretty low for this gadget, but it ended up being a game changer for me...❧ I probably reclaim 3-4 hours a month with this device, which doesn't sound like much, but those are 3-4 stressful unhappy hours that i've eliminated from my routine.❧ The only criticism I have is that it can sometimes be difficult to figure out where exactly it is due the high pitch of the beeping sound. It's mostly unavoidable, though -- a high pitch maximizes the auditory range of the beeping, and the piezo-electric driver is energy efficient, so just a limitation that's inherent to this kind of thing❧ tip: glue a few magnets to the back of the remote control and stick it to your fridge. It's surprisingly easy to not lose the remote if it has a "home". It's a single purpose-device. As soon as you find whatever you're looking for, immediately stick it back on the fridge. It has no other utility, so there's no reason to have it anywhere else unless you're actively using it.

Easy to setup and use.
The receivers are reasonably small so not much more bulk is added to the keys I normally carry. Included in the set is a small plastic tool which is used to open the units so batteries can be changed/installed. I like that there is no application required for a computer, phone or tablet. You just have to have access to the transmitter and be withing range of the receivers. Normally it is only at home that I misplace my keys, so I have a set place where the transmitter is located. In addition to the first set of batteries, small key-rings are included which makes it easier to attach to a larger key ring. Also included are dual-sided adhesive dots that can be used to attach a receiver to something like a briefcase, tool box, etc.I placed one of the receivers under a pillow and I was able to clearly hear the alarm in another room, a total distance of about 25 feet from the receiver.I am estimating a receiver battery will last akt least 100 days. My measurement was pretty crude, but I attempted to read the normal current draw of a receiver using a current meter. The current varied rapidly, as I expected, from 5 up to a maximum of 185 microamps. I am conservatively estimating the average current used is 100 microamps. The CR2032 batteries supplied should have a capacity of about 240 milliamp-hours. This gives the estimated lifetime of a battery in a receiver of a minimum of 100 days. If I am able to get a better reading of the actual current used or the actual lifetime of a battery, I will update the review. My only criticism of the set is the red-orange color stripes on one receiver is very close to the orange-red stripes on another one. The colors shown on the website are representative of what I am seeing on the receivers. Once you figure out which orangish-reddish receiver goes with which button, you could use a labeler to label the transmitter.Update: After 8 months of use, one of the receiver batteries did die. So, I stand by my estimate of reliable operation of about 100 days. I would recommend changing the batteries on all receivers ever 3 months to ensure that the batteries are always live when needed.
