Excellent pill cutting design
I was looking for a basic pill cutter but saw this one which appeared to be able to split multiple pills at one time. Well, you won't be disappointed. This easily opens to accept multiple pills, and closes to hold the pills in place while the cutting blade does its job. Smaller pills which tend to break apart when cut are held nicely in place allowing a clean cut. So far I have cut over 20 pills without a single one breaking apart smaller than the two even halves. So glad I spent a few dollars more to get one which splits multiple pills at one time.

Great pill cutter
Had a long time Rx and recently had to reduce the dosage to half, but had just gotten a 90 day supply of the original dosage. Purchased a small single cutter that literally crushed and chopped nearly every pill I tried to cut. Wasted a few expensive pills! Ordered this one, and not only can I cut 6 vs 1, it is a snap, and all 6 are cut evenly, very little 'crumbs' or waste! Cutter can be closed to cut with one hand, so blade is very sharp and precise. Closing and keeping tablets in line is a great feature! I highly recommend this product, don't waste time, money and expensive medications with a cheapie cutter!

It Works, But...
This pill cutter is almost perfect, it cuts the pills apart cleanly with just little dust chips left behind. The part that isn't perfect is if your pills have a cut line down the center it's hard to line up the cut lines with the blade that actually cuts them. This is caused by the method of closing the sides around the pills. As you close the sides, one side goes up, the other side goes down. This rotates the pill as it closes so the only way to cut a pill on the line is if you align the pill so it is off by the amount the cutter will rotate it. While this is possible it gets more difficult when you have multiple pills, thus defeating the time saving of cutting multiple pills at once. I really like the cutter so I will take the time to line up the pills until someone invents one that won't rotate the pills when it is closed. If your pills don't have a cut line you are good to go, this splitter will do a better job than any others I've tried.

WOW!
Where was this years ago? I have been splitting my pills and never had a 50-50 split. This is sturdy enough. I just got it yesterday but I put six pills in and split six pills perfectly! Now I don’t have to question just how much medication is in each half.

Amazing product, well worth the purchase.
I didn't know how much I needed this item! Being able to split multiple pills at once without crushing or losing any is highly satisfying. Usually for a months worth of pills it's an hour long struggle and I end with many uneven cuts. This holds the pills in line cuts all at once and all equally. Better than sliced bread!

Doesn't cut small pills well
This product does NOT cut small pills well, which was the whole reason for my purchase. They get crumbled into multiple pieces. I have not tried it on larger pills so I'm assuming based on other reviews that it works better for larger pills.

Best pill cutter for big and small pills. Centers and cuts perfectly.
My mom has some tiny pills and had tried many other pill cutters. This one has been a Best Buy. She brags about it everyday and has high compliments on its design. It’s easy to use for her, centers the pill correctly, getting even cuts, makes our conversations much more pleasant lol. Thanks for designing this so good :)

Which side of the pill will determine your success
I first tried to halve 4 small tablets. I positioned the tablets with the scribed half pill mark. It was difficult trying to keep all scribes straight after clamping down. I closed the case to cut the pills. When i opened it up three of the pills were split in two but the 4th pill got crushed. I rewatched the video showing how to use the cutter and saw that they just layed the tablets in the cutter and I didn’t see any scribed marks. I then took 5 pills and laid them in with no scribes showing. I locked them in place and closed the cutter. To my amazement they were perfectly cut in 2; all 5!! I tried another 5 and did the same thing, no scribes showing. And again they were perfectly cut in half.
