Best purchase ever.
I absolutely love this little speaker. It is exactly what I needed on my desk with my Mac mini. It doesn't phase me that I must control the volume via my computer. No big deal. The volume is plenty for me, more than enough. I'm thrilled that I don't have to use earplugs anymore just to listen to a podcast. And I'm thrilled that it's so small, sleek, out of the way, non intrusive, and works!!! AND the price was right. I also love that there's no additional plug, just the cable to my computer. It was nothing to set up, plug and go. The bass is not loud, so if you need loud bass this might not be the speaker for you. I haven't figured a way to increase that. Otherwise, I'm happy with the sound quality, good and clear. Best purchase ever.

Packs a powerful punch for such a low cost
I already had a small USB speaker like this one that worked fine for my home computer system (Mac Mini). I use my home computer system for watching news and movies. I brought this XKX speaker for a new work PC station (Dell PC) as the quality of these USB speakers far exceed the internal speakers of a PC. I was so impressed of this new speaker that I swapped out speakers with my main home system as it has a better quality of sound and loudness. At full volume, it is way too loud for me and I have to throttle the volume down.I am not a sound engineer that can tell the small difference between speaker systems. If the volume can be turned up when needed and it still sounds good without cracking, then it is good enough for me.Bottom line: from a value (benefits less costs) perspective, this one is worth a try

Great sound
Great little speaker. I just wish the touch controls lit up because I sit at my desk at night and have the lights low. It is hard to see the control and I have to use a little flashlight.

Easy to find a comfortable volumn level.
This speaker was a pleasant surprise. Far better than the speakers I had been using. It has a much fuller range of sound than expected. Plus the up, down, and off controls were touch sensitive and easier to use.

Stopped working after 6 months
Stopped working after 6 months.Update: Adding 2 more stars. Seller offered full refund after 6 months. That was unexpected.
