One of the best brands of head sets. Had so many head sets wires get damanged or plugs quit working. These you can just order a cheap new wire rather than a whole new head set. I have had my pair for 4 years and bought these for the boy and havnt had to replace anything yet.

I think I received a used/refurb item so that may have been the reason they were so bad. Arrived in a plain white box with the headset in plastic, splitter to connect to PC, 3.5mm cable and a printed piece of paper with instructions on how to plug it in. I also had the issue other reviews pointed out where I could only hear out of one side. Unplugging and plugging the cable that connects to the headset seemed to resolve that. The audio itself was terrible. I play mostly FPS and sounds are hallow, which makes it hard to distinguish footsteps and various other detailed sounds. I had the original model and thought I'd try the upgrade but original was miles better. Can't say much about the mic as I can't hear myself but I had to return based on the sound quality.

I don't typically review DOA or defective items because that doesn't help YOU and other potential buyers. It skews an items review when people whine about stuff like defective items, missing parts, slow shipping, etc. Usually, these have nothing to do with the product itself. But we're not talking about a fluke here bc I have the same problem a dozen or so other customers have with this headset: ONLY ONE EARPIECE WORKS and the side that DOES work sounds awful. I tried multiple devices...unplugged, replugged.... nada.I wouldn't buy these new OR refurbished bc you can count on them going dead sooner rather than later. Don't waste your time even if this particular model is on sale or refurb discounted.

Cord came broken and the volume control is different, but not better - I liked the gen 1 better. The foam, especialy top head foam is the main appeal as its way bigger and better shaped than the other.Also, IdK if it's just me, but when I compared to my gen1 I kinda preferred how my songs sounded thru those...

The right ear cup didn’t produce sound
