conductor material is high quality, the price is hard to beat, and if you are wanting a cable that is flexible/maneuverable this style of welding cable is what you need. How flexible is it? Well the order of 15ft of 2 ga both red/black came all coiled up similar to a coil springs appearance, it was no wider than my hand in diameter and about 9" tall! again that was for the combo of red/black, so 2, 2 AWG 15' cables can be wound up in a circle with a diameter of less than 6 inches! If you need something more flexible than that well I don't even want to know what you are attempting to do 😂 As many are likely buying for battery cables, there is no turns you could come across that this couldn't navigate! This will also make for great jumper cables, as the flexibility means it will store away in a much smaller profile than many of the store bought cables. I am likely going to make some this winter, as my old cables have always been a complete hassle to store neatly, and those don't have nearly the capacity as this cable would!If I can come up with a con, it would be(maybe) the insulation is very soft and pliable, feels great, but I would be hesitant to leave the cables naked, as it feel like they could chafe easily in a automotive enviroment. I don't know that they actually would, just more of a feeling. Since I was also going to be running this near the engine, the slightly lower heat rating than SGX Battery cable was also on my mind. this shouldn't have any issue with the majority of cases, I just always have the prepare for the worst mindset.. so I covered the cable with Insultherm sleeving to give it great abrasion resistance and heat protection, and then over that used red colored expandable braid so that it it added a bit of visual appearance as well as should help draw attention to its location as I rerouted cables through areas that would not be as common, and in the unlikely event that a shop ends up doing some work on my vehicle, this should help to avoid any accidental damage due to not being easily visible. is this necessary?... no probably not, but I like to do things in an OCD meticulous type manner, the added protection is peace of mind, and look great too!

This is quality wiring soft and pliable, easy to route through my RV roof to my basement compartment which hold my solar controllers. I now have 1200 usable watts and 4 Lithium Ion batteries for storage. I can now live off grid if I wanted to.

Tis temco cable is great stuff. I e bought everything from 2/0 , 1/0 , 2awg, 4awg, and 6awg. I use the big stuff from my batteries to the buss bars and in inverters. I use the 2awg from my charge controllers to the buss bars. The 4awg from my ac chargers to buss bars. And the 6awg from my combiner boxes to the charge controllers. I've built several separate solar power systems for myself and my family and once I found the temco wire it's been all I've ordered since . It actually is great wire and always has been exactly as I ordered.

This cable is a bit stiffer and the jacket is not as thick as my old wires but they work as battery cables on my 06 ram.

used this for welding cable on a small 200amp machine. The wire burnt up within a few months, past return date now. Out of cash and the cable is now useless junk.
