Complete Mould Protection Kit: Dual-Action Remover & Preventer, for Kitchen/Bathroom, Includes Gloves & Cloth, 2x500ml

This kit consists of two 500ml bottles - one of mould remover and the second of mould preventer. A cleaning cloth and a pair of cleaning gloves is also included. The bottles were well packed and there were no leaks in transit.I used the mould cleaner on a couple of small, tiled areas in my bathroom that are prone to getting mouldy and I found that after spraying it onto the tiles and leaving the cleaner on for around five minutes, I was able to wipe of the mould without needing to scrub or reapply the cleaning fluid. The mould stains I cleaned were only very light so if you were to clean an area of heavy mould, you might need to apply it more than once but, I was very impressed with the stain removal properties of this cleaner. I also used the mould prevention fluid and am hopeful, that this will stop the mould reappearing for a while.I am very pleased with this cleaning kit as I have used other mould cleaners in the past that were nowhere near as effective at getting rid of the staining. The kit is well priced and the cleaner/preventer fluids should last a while as I’ve used very little so far. I recommend this as a good option.

Used around the bath tiles in a bathroom of a friends house i was helping to clean as their home had a mould problem and the landlord cleaned all but the bathroom and tiles saying we had to do that ourselves as they only do walls and ceilings!I got this as it had a mould remover AND preventer. the remover worked well in removing the mould but didnt remove much of the stain it caused, however, that is easily fixed with a new sealant once we decorate the bathroom. it did take a few hours to do with some elbow grease but it worked.also when we attached the spray, the tube seemed very long so we had to bend it to get it in, we tried to bend it forward so when it was running low the liquid would "be near the front bottom" so when you tilt down it still works, but it was stiff to try get it on due to it being too long for some reason.the preventer we used a couple days after and used up most of the bottle all over where the mould was, but only time will tell if it comes back - so far there is no sign of it returning, but it takes weeks/months to build up so touch wood - if it comes back i will have to update my review accordingly

We had some black, mouldy marks growing around the corners of the windows in our main bedroom. I ordered this kit to tackle the problem and it’s proved very effective.It’s great that in addition to the 500ml bottles of mould cleaner and preventer, you’re also provided with protective gloves and a cleaning cloth.After spraying on the mould remover, leaving for 10-15 minutes and then wiping with the cloth, I was impressed with how much cleaner the wall was, with just a very light stain remaining. After a couple of applications and a touch up of the paint, I applied the mould preventer - only time will tell, but if this is as effective as the cleaner we should have mould free walls for the foreseeable future.

I wasn’t in desperate need of this but I have some mould around kitchen sink that I wanted to clear fully. I have used normal antibacterial surface cleanser and although it cleans it, you can tell it’s old around some parts of the sink.This cleaned it up perfectly and I didn’t need to scrub too hard that the seal came off around the sink like I nearly had before I used this.I have also tried it in the bathroom which didn’t need it much but glad I did as it’s left the bathroom sparkling new looking and used it on the toilet too.It is specialised stuff and works how it’s supposed to so I recommend it to anyone who has mould as it’s a very satisfying feeling to say goodbye to mould that’s been ignored cos it’s hard to get rid of.

I used this kit to solve minor problems with mould that most households will encounter. The gloves provided were similar to the ones I use for washing up with a slight fleecy lining and good areas of texture to give good grip. The sprays provided for both bottles needed to be fitted as the bottles came with a secure safety top on. I shortened the pipes to the sprays as they were both too long but this was easy with a pair of scissors and enabled me to have a long pipe that will reach right to the bottom of the bottle. I sprayed the treatment first on an area of the sink in my downstairs toilet that is difficult to get to and the silicone at the back of the sink starts to become discoloured in the narrow gap. I was met with the familiar smell of chlorine bleach. I left it for a few minutes then scrubbed with a fine nylon toothbrush and the area was clean. I then applied the mould preventer. This was fine for me, but I did wear protective goggles for both substances as you do not want to get them in your eyes. The other areas I used these products were bedroom and bathroom windows around the edges and it did work. The Mould Preventer is a disinfectant widely used healthcare settings whilst the Mould Stain Remover seems to be chlorine bleach, which is widely available and a relatively cheap substance. When I require more of the stain remover spray, I could mix my own and refill the bottle as it is very cheap to make yourself from common household ingredients and I could combine that spray with baking soda for more stubborn areas, but this set has been a good start for me.

If your trying to tackle mould and give parts of your house a clean, this is a great kit. It has everything you will need to blitz the job.All of the components are of a good quality and should last for a number of treatments. The chemicals appeared to have no trouble with the mould; you need to allow soaking in time before cleaning straight back off as with most of the se products.
