Great price, great ozone kit for cold plunge
I mistakenly mounted my previous ozone too low, and water backed up in it. I needed a replacement, but was trepidatious, because many of the ozone machines on Amazon are not plug and play. They have an AMP-4 plug for a control board. My cold plunge uses a dry box with an inkbird controller and a smart plug. So I needed a 110 standard plug. I took a chance and ordered this ozone machine. It said its 220 or 110. When I got it, I looked at the instructions and saw the wiring diagram, showing the white is ground, the blue is power, and the black or brown is neutral. I removed the cable from my non working ozone, of similar size and power, and wired it according the the included instructions. I used self solder, waterproof shrink sleeves for the connections. IT worked perfectly and powered right up. My cold plunge water was a little murky because my other ozone has been out of commission for two weeks. I have been treating with h2o2, but its not perfect. 1 day of running this new ozone on my inkbird schedule, the water was sparkling clear. There was not a powerful ozone scent, when I opened the lid. However my previous plunge was much smaller, and the new plunge never had a powerful ozone scent with the old Ozone machine either.Anyway, the results are crystal clear water, and that was the goal.If you're like me, dn looking, but concerned about the amp-4 plug, as long as you have some experience with wiring, and can follow the electrical diagram, you should be fine. I did not buy the 3 year extended warranty for $8, but these things don't tend to last that long, so that may be a wise decision. I am sure I'll buy it next time. I figured there was better than even chance I was sending this one back, so I omitted that option. I will, however be keeping this. I love it. Make sure you mount it so that the bottom of the ozone machine, is above the water line in your plunge. I had mine a little lower, and I mistakenly thought the one way valve was sufficient. I realized, when I poured white water out of the tubing, when I was checking why it wasn't working, that it was not the case. Interestingly, the one way valve was also no longer working. I am not sure if water corrupted it, but it would not let air flow in either direction. This new ozone machine came with a new valve, new tubing, and a venturi. So it was plug an play other than the actual plug. Too bad the seller does not offer a simple 110 plug option. At this price point, its the perfect addition for a DIY cold plunge. Not everyone is comfortable with wiring.

perfect after markey replacement
this was a replacement for the original Ozonator that stopped working even with regular maintainence. way less expensive than original replacement- & easy install- still doing the job a month later

Cold plunge
Bought this to help sanitize cold plunge water. I had to buy and attach a male plug end to be able to plug into a standard outlet and timer. Just be sure to wire to the new plug according to how the wires in the instruction are labeled, because the wire colors do not match the normal colors of hot/ground etc. I set the timer to run for about 30 minutes after each use. We have used our plunge every day, sometimes twice a day and after a month we still have clean water. So it appears to be doing the job. The question will be how long the device lasts.
