This is a heavy duty chopper. The pegs on which the top of the chopper pivots are made of stainless steel unlike other units that are made of plastic, that tend to break. This unit has an extended handle on the top that provide extra leverage when pushing the cutter through a pile of vegetables to be chopped. Clean up of the unit proved to be easy. I used the spray from faucet to remove most of the attached stuck on vegetables leaving very little to remove using the cleaning pick. I put the chopper in the top shelf of my dishwasher along with other dishes. Ran the hot and dry dish washer cycle, Removed the chopper part way through the dryiing cycle. Clean as new,

I was excited to see this chopper online. It’s just what I wanted, so I purchased it with no online reviews. It just arrived. This veg chopper seems very well made.All accessory items are made with a strong plastic. The main stainless steel fuselage seems like a good quality, heavy duty, stainless steel.The underside of the fuselage edges are a bit sharp so beware and handle with care. I purchased a small roll of rubber edging to protect from sharp edges. Works great!The blades are fine. To reduce wear, be sure to slice your vegetables before placing them on the blades.I also plan to purchase extra blades.

2 things. I wanted something to replace my mandoline, as well as save me time dicing fruits and veggies. And I chose this one because it's stainless steel. However, the mandoline portion is mainly plastic and will only make extreeeeeeemely thin slices, about 1/8" using the thickest setting. So it's useless for me and I still have to use my old mandoline. I've only been using the dicing plates, which it does a fantastic job with. But I broke the small dice blades today on some frozen garlic (yes, I knew better but I did it anyway), after using it daily for over 2 months. I am going to purchase a replacement 7mm dice blade because it's still worth it to me. Yes, it takes some effort to clean the dicing blades but it still saves a ton of time and effort versus doing it manually with a knife. I make a lot of things that require 1-2 large onions, diced. This gadget means I only spend 1-2 minutes rather than 10 or more minutes with my eyes streaming. I also do a lot of diced potatoes, shallots, cucumbers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, apples, pears, etc. This saves me anywhere between 10-50 minutes everyday in prep work. I'll take that any day.

Very good and strong chopper.

The rest of the product seems sturdy and durable. But the blades breaks after a few use. And they don’t have have extra parts to replace. I bought one, after a month I trashed it, since the blades broke and I couldn’t find the replacement. In addition, if the blades break during chopping, there is a possibility of residue mixing with vegetable which can be hazardous to the people too. If it works only a month or so, I would buy the cheaper options available in the market.

I love, love, love this thing. It saves me so much time and because I have problems with my hands, I normally cannot chop up fresh vegetables. It is simple to use, but I highly suggest watching the video that is provided on the Amazon site. The instruction booklet that comes with it is also very helpful. It took me a minute to figure out a couple of things before watching the video. The blades are easy to change and it is easy to take apart for cleaning. The blades are super sharp! I shredded cabbage with it and it works surprisingly well. When dicing a larger piece, I followed the video. You put a half onion or smaller, and tap up down a few times until the onion gives. Dicing a whole onion in one piece is next to impossible, but it in not intended to do that. The blades can be a little hard to clean, as the food sticks to them. For instance, in dicing onions, pieces will stick to the little squares, so I found washing it right away and using the little brush that is included for that purpose, works well, Not very hard really. I just love it.

By far the best dicing chopper that chops so beautiful that each bit is like a pearl bite. I make mix salads and people can’t even hate the vegetable because it’s so beautifully cut and u tend to eat beetroot and turnip like eating any other vegetable 🥕 must buy the blade is sharp and true to quality.
