Worth a money
I do decoration work, a friend of mine bought this sander, I borrowed it and used it, I really liked it, it is a great machine, both affordable and easy to use, the product arrived but there was no Vacuum Cleaner Hose Adapter in the box and I could not contact the seller for this through Amazon. And I had to pay an extra fee to buy the Vacuum Cleaner Hose Adapter. Other than that, the machine is really worth the money.

First use
Recieved sander yesterday with next day delivery. Read a lot of reviews first. Mostly good but a few bad ones too. But after first use I can say Wow. What a great sander, totally stable , hardly any vibration, powerful motor, quiet, and the comfort is the best thing for me. Been using friends festool sanders recently and I can honestly say I much prefer this low profile design. So far absolutely brilliant for the money. Lets see how it performs over time.Only gripe is the extraction hose provided is stiff plastic, but can overcome that with a bit of modification. Sanding discs provided are bad. Leave them in the box and buy good ones.

Not bad, but a little expensive
I have many quality sanders in my workshop, an old ELU, Bosch Pro belt and delta sanders. The belt sander in particular is a very well designed but expensive tool.My favourite is an M18 Milwaukee orbital, but it's obvious drawback is it has limited sanding time due to being battery operated. This MAXXT one has a very large 150mm head which is much bigger than the Milwaukee. It has an unusual on switch where you can adjust the power/speed and then a palm lever switch which obviously helps with the safety. Not that orbital sanders are particularly dangerous if you use them in their intended purpose. However, any poorly made and designed tool could be dangerous electrically, and is the reason why I ALWAYS invest in good and well acknowledged brand names. No safety marks on the manual and the box but I finally found the CE mark on the machine. Not that there is anything wrong with the build quality on this PRC sander. The power cable is decent and VERY long and the extraction hose is also long. The extraction hose seems a bit brittle though so not sure how it will last in a busy workshop. In use it's performance is pretty good. Sanding an Oak plank with 40grit and putting pressure on the pad and there was not any slow down at all. So I am not sure why others are saying it is underpowered. The only issue I have is that the price of £200 is in the realms of serious professional power tools from Dewalt, Milwaukee, Bosch Pro etc. So I personally would pay that wee bit extra for something special from a tried, tested and trusted brand. If the price was a bit lower then could be in contention. Not bad, but the well established competition is not much more expensive and sometimes cheaper on online tool store fronts.

Stopped working after 2 months with almost no use. Good customer support though.
The media could not be loaded. Stopped working after 2 months. Used no more than 30 minutes total in that time.Reached out to maxxt directly and they offered a replacement no questions asked though.

Great product
I debated between this and festool for a year. I can't compare it with festool since I don't own one but it's a day and night difference using this vs dewalt and bosch sander I own. This thing is fast and quiet. I have not reached a 40min continues use time yet but I am hoping they have fixed the heating up and shutting down issues by now. For the money it's worth the gamble and so far I am really happy with it.

Would recommend.
I pondered buying this or the the new 3m sander for a long time. Then the price went even higher on the 3m so that helped me decide. This is a great sander. Fairly quiet and smooth. Still has some vibration but I would say at least half the amount of a big box DeWalt or Makita ros sander. I wish they would make a pad saver for these because they have different holes than any other sander. Dust collection in good. Cord it not stiff and very nice. Common size dust port. Fits centec vac hose perfect. I have used it for a couple months and am still happy with my choice. Just hope it last long term. I would recommend. Especially considering it's around 1/2 the price of the name brand competition. Using with 3m cubritron mesh. In a commercial shop. The pad is a Allen head bolt I believe it's m8. So aftermarket pads will be hard if not impossible to find.

Great sander
This is a great little sander for finishing. Would recommend, and I have the 3m sander as well which is twice the cost, and this is just as good.
