Non-Brother cartridges accepted
I put the new cartridges in today. It gave a prompt asking if it is "non-Brother cartridges". If you say "no" it returns to the install prompt. I was afraid to say "yes", but that's what you have to say. It's not blocking the use of non-brand cartridges, like my old Epson used to do. I have printed out several pictures and documents and it's working. I saw a 2nd printer pop up on my printers and scanners section, but I just continue to print on the default printer, and basically ignore the duplicate printer showing up. The printer briefly went offline and I changed the setting to "share printer" amongst devices in the network, so maybe that's why it's showing 2 printers. But it works and that's all that matters.

Ink Quality is Terrible - Tried Multiple Cartridges, Same Terrible Quality
The ink quality is terrible. If I could give it zero starts I would. Complete waste of money. Nothing is the color it should be and there is no consistency between prints. I had bought two (deal on Amazon), so I tried the other package, thinking maybe it was just the one. Same issue. I had to go back to OEM product and throw all of this away.

Not Brother
Seems to work fine, but my printer likes to remind me that I'm not using Brother ink. Whether I would buy this again depends on how often it continues to remind me.

Does not work, don’t waste your money
I ordered when my ink began to get low, back in August 2024; just installed the red and yellow today (11/26/24) and my printer will not work, it detected it was not a genuine product and will absolutely not work!! Of course the return window has closed so I am stuck to eat the $89 cost (plus tax) which is crap! The description said it was compatable with my printer, they should have to provide a refund!!I rate this a negative 0

They don't work
Leaked all over my desk standing the wood.- This is supposedly the brand that fits but the printer would not recognize them.- took the printer cartridges out of the printer and they just continue to leak everywhere.I tried to stick with this company but I think it's really time to change.
