I have a much-loved leather jacket with a broken zipper, and after trying several cheap plastic fixes from China that didn't work, I decided to give FixnZip a try. The design looked strong, and the instructional video was convincing. When my FixnZip arrived, I noticed it had a cord puller instead of the metal puller shown in the advert. Despite this, I installed it on my jacket, and to my delight, it worked perfectly!I reached out to Jonathan at FixnZip to mention the difference in the puller. He responded promptly, explaining that a replacement could take a few weeks as it was being shipped from the U.S. True to his word, Jonathan sent me a whole new FixnZip with the correct metal puller. The product itself is brilliant, and the customer service and communication were outstanding. I highly recommend FixnZip to anyone in need of a reliable zipper solution.

My 10 year old son broke the pull on his ridiculously expensive winter coat so I wasn't best pleased. I'd bought other replacement zip pulls that just didn't work as the zip is a concealed waterproof one. I bought this is a last ditch attempt before I bought a new coat. It didn't work at first as I hadn't read the bit of the instructions that said reverse the pull for this type of zip - totally my fault obviously. After I finished having a paddy pants tantrum 🫣 I reread it and realised what I'd done. It then worked perfectly. It in fact works better than the original - yes Ted Baker, I'm looking at you, do better. Awesome piece of kit. Especially if you read the ALL the instructions before you start. 😂

I had a jacket where the zip kept coming apart and I'd hoped this wuld be a simple fix. Despite following the instructions to the letter and making sure I had the right size it just didn't work. Tightening the adjustment screw to a point where it did close the zip's teeth made it very difficult to actually do it up. The next time the teeth just opened up again. Such a shame as I now have the added cost of gettin a whole new zip fitted.

Purchased this item from seller in USA as none available in UK.Took 2 weeks to arrive and am impressed with the simplicity of this gadget.My jacket zip broke and rather than spend a fortune getting expensive zip replaced, I came across this little beauty of an item via sellers website for fraction of the cost of repair. After viewing couple of sellers instruction videos I decided to chance my luck and buy one.So glad I did as the FixnZip repair is easy to fit and works a treat.My broken jacket zipper has a number embossed on surface, and after checking with magnifier glass I could see the number and ordered the correct size via the helpful guides on FixnZip website.My only negative would be the lack of clear fitting instructions regarding how to fix all the parts onto your FixnZip.Instructions are printed on inside of stapled cardboard which is attached to a small plastic resealable bag.Take care when opening as not to damage card as instructions are printed inside of it.The zipper is easy to fit, just unscrew it and pop over teeth of your zip side on the correct side, hand tighten the screw fully, then about 1/4 turn back and simply pull up.The enclosed items included a piece of cord, piece of plastic and also a small key ring which allows you to attach it to the new FixnZip.I knew what all parts were and where they went, it,s just it could be confusing for some as to figure out how they are actually fitted.Make sure that your teeth on your plastic or metal zips are intact and none are missing or broken or this item will not work properly.They can be used to repair jackets, sleeping bags, jeans, rucksacks, just about any garment that has a zip on it :)Hope this helps someone decide about this particular item.

Was well made but couldn't get it to work, wasted money really.

It took a little time to work out how to fasten it to the door area of the pet pram that is used to transport my bunnies to vet. They also liked to play in the removable carrier part that my bunnies unknowingly chewed through the zip, so the door area could not be closed, so pram was u usable.I found this zip by chance and thought would try it. It has worked. It glides over the broken teeth to secure it well. There are times I have to reopen and close it to secure it, but is great!Pleasantly surprised and has prevented a great deal of hassle and expense. I will though place a cover over it, just in case.All worthwhile and would buy again.

It didn't do the job on my jacket.You need to get the screw the right level of tightness for it to work and good luck figuring that out.I bought a bunch of cheap straight forward zippers elsewhere and those worked fine.2 stars for material quality.

This product works. You need to measure the whole width of the zip teeth not just one side. The instructions before purchase aren’t that clear on that point.However if you have ordered the correct size and you read the comprehensive instructions then it works. It’s more functional than sleek as it does have a screw head poking out slightly to the front so not really for elegant wear. It is perfect for the old jacket you’ve had for years and love but has been relegated to dog walking and garden centre duties. It allows garments to soldier on a bit longer. But the crucial thing is unlike the 6 in a pack zipper fixers that you see advertised that ‘easily’ clip together, this does work. The other clip type are easy to fit, so easy that they unclip right off again as soon as you even look at the zip. This product might need tightening up as you wear it over time but that is easy. Give this a go. I’m glad that I did.

Instructions are easy to understand and with the 2 short tutorial videos on the Amazon ad was so easy to understand what size I needed and how to install it and I installed it in about 30 seconds with no problems at all and it works great!

I never write reviews but I feel this product deserves a review. My son had to have an inflatable costume this year. The super broke on the first one and we returned it. Then after a couple uses the zipper broke again and we couldn't return it anymore. He was devastated that he wasn't going to be able to wear the costume so I began searching for ways to fix the zipper. This worked perfectly! Was easy to put on! (I did watch the videos before I ordered) I liked that it was easy to figure out what size i needed. Now my son is super happy he can wear his costume again!

Franchement l'installation ouverture/fermeture avec la fermeture éclair est très très pratique et cela ne s'endommage pas après 2 ou 3 tentatives.Malheureusement, pour les fermetures éclair intérieures de valise, cela ne permet pas de fermer la fermeture et la maintenir fermée car il y a toujours 1 ou 2 dents qui ne sont pas fermées et tout s'ouvre.C'est dommage mais c'est la conception et l'installation de la fermeture dans la valise.

Ottimo per emergenze. Meglio trovare un cursore tradizionale per l’utilizzo giornaliero.
