I was browsing for a gift for very picky little girls who has absolutely everything! This one was absolute bulls eye!!! It’s supreme quality, terrarium is made of actual glass not some cheap plastic! Has plenty of bits to choose from to decorate it into most beautiful night light ever!! But this is not everything. After finishing this gorgeous little lamp kid can control it with remote straight from bed!!! Best gift ever and super happy 7 years old girl!!

The kit is easy to use and comes with everything you need to create a beautiful mermaid terrarium. The materials are high-quality and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. My daughter was able to create her own unique terrarium, and she was so proud of her finished product. The light-up feature is a really cool touch, and it makes the terrarium look even more magical. Moreover, the instructions are clear and easy to follow, which made the crafting process fun and stress-free.

A nice combination of an art project, a decoration and a nightlight. The child can assemble the contents in any way they choose, although there is a general design to the item. Inside, there may also be room for a small additional item such as a seashell or small rock the child may have collected from the beach. Nothing else is required, no tools or glue are necessary. Note you do not put water in it. It’s worth noting too that the vase is glass, so consider its placement and how lively your kids are. With my kids, I would have preferred an acrylic one. The tiny LED light in the lid, runs off a small watch battery (included). I’m not sure how long this will last if used constantly as a nightlight. Packs of these batteries can be purchased quite cheaply, but they are a little fiddly to replace. The whole item comes in a pretty pink box, making it an ideal gift. As others have suggested £19.99 at the time of writing is a little pricey for what it is. But I guess buying all the components separately would be more costly. So, a star off for value, but otherwise, a lovely little project and a nice gift. Recommended.

This would make a lovely gift for fairy loving little ones. For £19.99 you get the glass bowl, a mixture of sand, accessories and the light which goes on the lid. It comes with a remote control so you can control the light which has 13 different colour options. It comes nicely boxed, great for birthdays or Christmas and a fair price for a nice craft set.

I recently had the opportunity to test and review this create-your-own magical/fairy terrarium kit through the Amazon Vine Program, and it's honestly so cute! It's honestly one of the most creative gift ideas I've come across so far. I think any little girl or boy would be really pleased with this, I can't get over how well thought out this is in all honesty.In the box, you get everything you need to create a magical little world (sounds cheesy but that's the aim :D) you get some magic sand, some moss, some miniature fairies, some decorations and an LED light which is remote-controlled as well! This is a nice little bonus as well and would make it stand out even more so than your standard boring terrariums.My little niece had an absolute whale of a time setting this up and putting it together, and the end result is really lovely, it is a lovely terrarium which doubles as a little nightlight, which is adjustable via the remote from her bed (which she loves the idea of).The materials are well-made, safe, and eco-friendly, which in this day and age is a bonus! I really appreciate the thought that has gone into creating this!Overall it's the perfect little gift for any little un who likes to get crafty and really likes making things with their hands. I received this item via the vine programme and here is my honest and unbiased review.This is a really lovely kit that would look lovely in a kids bedroom.Everything in the kit is nicely made and It is fun to create your scene.Love love love it!£19.99 is a little higher than I think this kit should cost, but hey ho!4 stars!

Great gift for little ones that like mermaids. You get everything you need to build a light up terrarium for the mermaid. Great fun to do and looks pretty when finished.

My niece has had a unicorn obsession as of late so I immediately found this terrarium for her. It made for a fun creative birthday gift that we could work on together. She loves the lights and the cute little set up inside. Overall quite happy with it.

The kids had fun building but the light only worked for about a week.

My 7-year-old loved this Unicorn Terrarium Crafts Kit. It's easy to assemble, and she had a great time designing how she wanted it to look. Every couple of days she takes everything out and rearranges it again, making this a great gift since she's gotten a lot of use out of it. The night light works well, but we really like the timer on the remote so it doesn't stay on all night and run the battery down. She loves playing with the colors of the lights almost as much as she loves redesigning the layout. She spends a good 10 minutes every night deciding on the color she'll use for that night. Then spends another 5 minutes deciding how she wants it to fade or have the lights jump. This is a great gift for a little girl.

Got this for my daughter as she’s been afraid of the dark. She loves that she can make it herself and then see it at night. She’s been sleeping in her room with this on.
