Ineffective
This product may be great as a general supplement. However, I purchased this for Sleep Support and didn't notice that it did a thing. That's just me though. I may work well for others.

Magnesium Oxide?? What was I thinking?
I don't know what I was thinking when I bought this. First, it's 1/5 the strength of the liposomal form I usually get for just a few dollars more, and it has magnesium oxide in it! Magnesium Oxide is nothing more than a laxative. It draws water into the bowels, but is not well absorbed via the intestines. Adding this to a product that can cause diarrhea anyway is just stupid and makes me question the knowledge and integrity of the company. It has a total of 89 mg magnesium oxide and glycinate (glycinate is chealated and fairly well absorbed) but doesn't tell how much of each. I take much more magnesium glycinate regularly with no issues, so I can tell it's mostly the cheap, oxide form by the intestinal discomfort it causes. It's mild, but totally unnecessary. If I'd read the label carefully, I'd not have bought it.For those reviewers who got good results from this product, I highly recommend searching for a liposomal product that has 500 mg Agipenin. The results are noticeably better. The only reason I can think of that would have made me purchase this product was the lower dose, but I'll just cut a hole in my other ones and put some in a gel cap if I want less. Agipenin had so many health properties beyond sleep support, you really can't go wrong with a higher dose. Agipenin, Black Seed Oil, Olive Leaf Extract and colloidal silver are the things oncologists don't want you to know about, but there are way better sources of Agipenin than this.

Excellent Relaxation & Sleep Supplement
As always, NutraHarmony doesn't disappoint. This is yet another home run of a supplement. This Apigenin for Sleep supplement is aimed at promoting relaxation, improve sleep quality, and reduce stress. It combines Apigenin, a natural flavonoid found in chamomile, with L-Theanine and Magnesium to support a restful night's sleep. It's made in the USA, non-GMO, GMP-certified, vegan. This combination of ingredients has long been part of my bedtime supplementation; in addition, I take 5-HTP, L-Tryptophan, vitamin D3, B1, B6 and Ashwagandha.Apigenin is a flavonoid found in plants like chamomile. It binds to GABA receptors in the brain. GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) is a neurotransmitter that promotes relaxation by inhibiting neural activity. By enhancing GABA activity, Apigenin helps calm the nervous system and reduce anxiety, making it easier to fall asleep.L-Theanine is an amino acid commonly found in tea leaves, particularly green tea, that promotes relaxation without causing drowsiness, helping to reduce stress and improve sleep quality. It promotes relaxation without causing drowsiness by increasing levels of calming brain chemicals like serotonin and dopamine, while also reducing the levels of stress-related chemicals. This balance helps improve sleep quality and reduce the time it takes to fall asleep.L-Theanine also helps reduce mental and physical stress by promoting alpha brain waves, which are associated with a relaxed but alert mental state. This can help create the ideal environment for restful sleep.Magnesium is a vital mineral that supports over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body, including those involved in relaxation and sleep regulation. It is essential for muscle function including relaxation and nervous system support, aiding in the reduction of muscle tension and promoting a calm state. It helps prevent muscle cramps and spasms that can interfere with a restful night's sleep. It helps regulate neurotransmitters that send signals to the brain and nervous system, promoting a calm state.Enhanced Calm and Relaxation: The combined effects of Apigenin, L-Theanine, and Magnesium create a powerful calming effect, making it easier to relax and fall asleep. They work together to enhance GABA activity, increase calming neurotransmitters, and support muscle relaxation.Improved Sleep Quality: By addressing both mental and physical aspects of sleep, this combination can improve sleep quality and duration. Apigenin and L-Theanine help reduce anxiety and stress, while Magnesium supports muscle relaxation and overall sleep regulation.Balanced Mood: The trio also helps in balancing mood and reducing stress, which are key factors in achieving restful sleep. This combination can lead to a more balanced and peaceful state of mind, conducive to better sleep.

Good Formula
The main component of this formula is apigenin which is the extract of chamomile that is known for it's calming and relaxing effects. The product also contains both magnesium and l-theanine, both of which are also known for their relaxing effects. I like the convenience and effectiveness of having all three of these components combined. I used this before bed and sometimes toward the end of the day to help with relaxation. You get 120 capsules and the serving size is 2 so this amounts to a 2 month supply. Overall I found this to be a quality product and a good value for the money.

Didn't really work for me
I had been taking a lot of melatonin and wanted to try something else to help with my sleep to avoid building a tolerance or dependency on melatonin. I gave these a try for a week but haven't really noticed any effects.Maybe some subtle sleep improvement, but nothing as noticable as melatonin. They do taste good, and they may work well for others, but I'm going to stick with melatonin.
