There really is something different about the Bose sound… I have 2 sets of speakers that I use around my home for work & entertainment. I’ve had them for over 15 yrs. and they sound great like I just purchased them. That said, I’m sold on Bose’s brand quality. I’m really enjoying my little pink Bose Soundlink Flex… Did I mention it’s pink. It was a birthday present to myself. The sound is rich, full, and when I first turned it on-I was pleasantly surprised at how good it sounds. I played some jazz, R&B and even my brown noise at night to sleep. Ten out of 10 I highly recommend. I gave my clunky sleep noise machine away-this speaker has been a wonderful replacement. The added bonus is an equalizer via the Bose app- it’s the cherry on top bc the sound is already near perfection, BUT for persnickety music/sound lovers-you’re in luck.

I love this speaker. It's exactly what I needed- portable and durable with decent sound. I also like that it's resistant to dust and water. I plan to use it in the backyard or when camping or traveling, so I like that it can endure some exposure to the elements (within reason). I did get a case for it and recommend one for some added protection. The battery life is decent (it gives you updates every time you turn it on and when it's running low when you're using it), it was easy to set up, and the sound quality is great. My only complaint is that I wish it was voice activated. While you can set it up to link to your Google Assistant or Alexa, you still have to push a button to talk to it. In the era of just yelling whatever you want at a speaker that is always listening, I found that to be a bit cumbersome since I don't always have it within reach (based on the sound quality, you will find that you want to place it somewhere in the center of a room where you can get the full effect, so it may not always be in front of you to push the button). However, I've just learned to control it from my phone instead and don't think it's worth taking off a star, because that's not what it's supposed to be. Overall, for the price, this was exactly what I wanted, and I highly recommend it. While you can get any type of Bluetooth speaker these days, this is absolutely worth the price.

Since obtaining a Bose Wave 2 CD clock radio at a pawn shop and having Bose speakers in my Cadillac and my wife having them in her Caddy and hearing the "Bose difference" I have been pretty much hooked on their products and feel the extra $ are worth it to get the sound I personally want and this is no exception.The sound quality and battery life are great,as expected, and I caught it on sale so that's even better. It is a solid unit and manufactured well. The "Soundlink Max" (although I'm sure it's dynamite also) was more than I wanted to spend on a Bluetooth speaker, especially since I'm "old skool" and still listen to, and purchase, compact discs and won't pay for music streaming so my options are limited to Amazon Prime music, You Tube etc. but I felt the need to have a portable, compact speaker to hear whatever I am listening to on my phone better.Summing up, Yes, buying a Bose is going to be more expensive, but IMO it's worth it and I have a bluetooth speaker of the brand I prefer that will hopefully last many years..so there it is.

You can’t go wrong with the BOSE name. I have a first generation Soundlink Bose speaker that is still working fine, although the battery life isn’t very long anymore. I wanted to get a new speaker that I could take anywhere easily, stays charged for many hours with great sound quality. I am not disappointed with this new speaker. I like that when I turn it on, it states how much charge is left (it will state “battery 80%”) or whatever the case may be. I also like the fact that I can synch up two of these if I decide to buy a second one. The 1st gen won’t do this. I also like that the plug port is MUCH easier to use than the 1st gen. It pairs easily to all devices. I am no expert in sound quality, but I do know that this little speaker packs a solid pinch…for me, anyway. The sound is rich and full and can be turned up really loud. I got the pale sage green color, and I love it. For the price point, this is a fantastic little speaker. I would buy it again.

Perfect size. I always go with Bose speakers for quality. I've never had a problem with my previous Bose purchase. Like the choice of colors, too. My daughter mentioned that it matches my color scheme in my house.

For the quality of sound, weight, size and the length of play, this is really the best I’ve found. I liked the 1st one I bought so much I purchased a second one, and one for a friend who really admired its utility. Weather proof and so durable, it can fall from a significant height and simply bounce, due to its rubbery exterior. Good volume level for its size. Also, I find the base response is enhanced when I put it in a corner of a room, garage, etc.
