I've used about a dozen different shilajit resin products and this one was toward the middle in terms of quality. I found the taste to be slighter more "burnt" than others which did effect the flavor of my coffee a bit. The benefits of shilajit are definitely worthwhile so I'd still recommend this one.

Haven't had any negative effects from this. I have noticed an increase in energy. I believe it's one of those things that you're not sure if it's working until you stop taking it. I think it's definitely beneficial over time and this particular brand has worked well. It mixes easy and dissolves well. Overall, I definitely recommend.

Hard to make a solid comparison to this Shilajit compared to others on the market, but I must say the contents came in a plain white box with no other markings, and within was this jar as pictured with the "measuring" sticks. The consistency is a thick resin Shilajit that is typical of many other brands, so it is seemingly on par with such. The packaging origin of this product is questionable but does claim that the contents come from the himalayas. The labelling and product container are satisfactory, with boasts of being Vegan, Non-GMO, Gluten and Sugar free.

Hard to take the 500 mg dosages when they supply you with a 300 and 600 mg measurements on the stick.Glass jar is a plus... plain white box with no brand or list of contents... product smells fine and not spoiled or of any patroleum/solvents... but it is made and packaged in China with questionable quality control from the looks of things... not hard to put the correct stick in a box on an assembly line, if something that simple is overlooked I can only imagine what else was during the entire manufacturing and packaging process.Think I will pass on consuming this brand of Shilajit, I will however, find a way to incorporate it into my garden. I'm sure the roses and other blooms outdoors will enjoy the boost in Fulvic and Humic acids if it has any... for all I know it's just some black strap molasses infused with some seaweed or pink salt for the claimed 85 minerals.

I just throw a bit of this in the cup before brewing my coffee and it mixes in great! Doesn't seem to have any impact on the flavor either.

I've read a lot of good things about shilajit, and a lot of bad things (like the risk of heavy metal contamination). You'll have to research for yourself to decide if you accept the risks. After trying this for a while, I can't say that I noticed anything good or bad. However, the taste is quite yucky and the consistency is like a viscous tar. Also, they give you a little stick with lines on it for measuring the dosage, but it's so messy I can't possibly be taking uniform doses with it. I don't think I'll take this anymore. YMMV.

What piqued my interest in this lickshine resin is that this vendor says theirs is mined from the Himalayas. Real shilajit from the Himalayas is actually really hard to come by, there’s alot of fakes out there. Just to backtrack here, years ago I went on a date with a guy who goes to the Himalayas to source Shilajit, and he told me Cher was one of his customers! The anti-aging benefit is really what drew me to this product. I can’t yet say if it’s prevented aging or not, but I have seen increased levels of energy and mental clarity, which is a huge plus. I will continue taking Shilajit daily, and repurchasing when I’m done.
