Flame raisins - large, delicious, organic
These are flame raisins, which are quite different from the standard Thompson raisins that you find in most places. Flame raisins are made from red grapes, whereas Thompson raisins are from white grapes. (Thompson raisins are brown because the white grape oxidizes, like the way apples turn brown after you cut them.)If you've never tried flame raisins, you're in for a treat. They are sweeter and have richer, more complex flavor. And these Braga ones are particularly good. They are large and moist. It's hard to find good flame raisins, let alone organic flame raisins. These are as good as it gets.

PLUMP JUICEY BIG SOFT
I tried to write this into the feedback but there wasn't enough words allowed...now I see how it works..READ THIS:.I think many people do not realize how low quality the foods ORGANIC and NON-- are in the regular stores...even the coops cannot hold a candle to the 2 different brands of raisins (and dried cranberries) that I get here on Amazon..I have been buying organic for the MANY children I have been raising for 36 years...first my own children then my grandchildren...so I have the experience to say...I have NEVER gotten raisins or dried fruits period so FRESH, PLUMP, JUICEY & LARGE as the 2 brands bought here on Amazon..I don't know why but it is amazing ...I thought I was already getting the best at the organic coops..not even close..I was skeptical because the brand I had bought here last year was no longer available..I thought it had to be the brand..SO I went to Safeway & bought some Organic Raisins there...I ended up throwing them away...they were tiny, like currants, hard, tasteless & dry...So I was desperate cause I eat raisins daily in bran (I am 63 & still raising children so I have to stay strong) So I took a chance on this brand...THE DIfference is, like the last HUGE bag I got here night & day...AND the bags are dffinitely HUGE..ALSO I was worried that because the bags are so big they would dry out before we could use them up...though after a few months there was a slight drying they STILL were 100% better than anything I have gotten ANYWHERE else...Anyone that cares about what their family is getting in there diet should definitely try these dryed fruits of all kinds here on Amazon...you will never be the same!!!

Organic love
Nicely packaged in heavy plastic resealable bag. Easily 2 ~ 3 times the size of non organic store bought pesticide laced raisins. Not sickening sweet like processed Raisins. The sweetness is more like a real grape minus the juice. I cook organic coarse ground oatmeal then mix 1/2 cup of these in, cover and let it stand for 10 minutes. The Raisins plump up and make the Oatmeal come to life with flavor. Yes of course its more expensive than your local store brand trash raisins. But what do you want in your body? Standard farming practices for grapes can use anywhere from 6 to 10 different pesticides in the process of growing one seasons crop with a high percentage of the residue from all of this inside of the grape. Then it goes through the drying to a raisin where they can use more dubious ingredients to preserve and sweeten the product. They will tell you the pesticides are "safe" not because they are safe but because they need them to get it to market without a high percentage of loss due to bugs and blight. Please think, what if I came to knock on your door and said hello I am only going to poison you a little bit every time you eat one my raisins? Would you slam the door or eat my poison. Bottom line Organic is not expensive, dying slowly from eating poisoned crops and getting multiple illnesses in your retirement years in quite expensive. Live my friends, live.

Finally found them! Earthbound Farms used to have a Jumbo Flame raisin you could buy in your grocery store and they were delicious, but then they stopped selling them. We have been looking for an equivalent forever--going to out of the way grocery stores and trying lots of bad raisins. These are perfect. Big, plump, soft and nothing like the dry raisins with which we're all familiar.

Big and Juicy
These are great! And they are big, fat raisins! I was surprised at how big they were. They taste wonderful.I bought these because I'm allergic to sulfites. Dried fruit is loaded with sulfites and even many fresh grapes that are purchased in the store are loaded with sulfites and never mentioned on the label. I can now make my own raisin bread for me too, with these raisins. I'll give my family those crappy, sulfite ridden raisins. I'm keeping these Braga organic raisins for me! Mine! ALL MINE.

plump, fresh raisins
First of all this bag is HUGE. I'm 5'10" and the bag is longer than my forearm (hopefully that gives you a hint). Now about the flavor of these raisins. WOW! I use raisins for everything from snacking to meatloaf and these are my new go-to brand. Organic and plump, the flavor is top-notch. Perfect sweetness and very fresh, not like some brands that can be almost leathery-chewy and barely resembling fruit flavor... these are perfect raisins. Thank you for making this product.

i thought it's no oil added
Read some questions & answers before I place this order in Customer Questions & Answers. Braga statement :In the past we used a Organic Sunflower Oil on our raisins. However, our current season of raisins do not have any oil on them. Thanks for the inquiry! -Braga Organic Farms /// Bought this on February 21, 2014 and on the back label says : Organic Jumbo Flame Raisins,Organic Sunflower Oil. Raisins are big and covered in oil. I just don't understand why BRAGA didn't mention about added oil .I will try to return this product

Best Raisins Ever
Absolutely the best raisins we've ever had. The whole family enjoys the large, plump raisins in oatmeal, cookies, whatever. Soak in some rum for a special little "hit" in whatever you're adding them to. Great in a Waldorf Salad with apples and walnuts. This is the real deal. Impressive!
