Amazing product, does exactly what you would expect, have had no issues with the ssd speeds 900mb/s read and write, which for what i do music production is more than enough. have had zero issues with wifi connectivity as some may have had. My only wish is that they could have a switch on the front to compensate for the nonsensical location of the power button by apple. now my m4 mac mini has 1tb.. can't recomment this enough. Kudos to amazon the product came on time (RSA)

So far, this expansion unit has worked perfectly and is a great fit for my new M4 based MacMini. Easy ordering, swift shipment, and easy setup with supplied cable to host unit. Installation of an external SSD was also straightforward with included tool and heat sink. Only item of note based on my prior research was this unit lacks a simple cutout area compared to other's on the market is access to the M4 MacMini power button, but I rarely use the physical power button so it is not a negative for my use. Would recommend.

Blows all other hubs for Mac mini M4 to shame. Love the design and all the extra ports. I especially love the expandable SSD memory to 8TB which has made my Mac mini M4 pro that much better. It’s very well made, comes with Everything you could possibly need. Every port you could ever need. I Highly recommend RayCue and this Mac Mini M4 Hub. Best one on the market!

Update 5/9 :The folks at Raycue reached out to me to apologize for the first response I received regarding the problems and attitude noted in my first review and to make it right they sent me a new hub. I was surprised and pleased. I appreciated this very much. Customer care is No. 1 and this reflects well on Raycue. I reconnected and all is working well. I do like that it has more options to connect than the Satechi hub. This is a good product. Thank you RayCue for your response.NOT A RECOMMENDED PURCHASE.I bought the hub on 5/29. The product that I received has an SD card reader that does not work.The SD card works on other readers. And last night the audio out stopped functioning, the hub is not being recognized as an option in the audio system settings. When I emailed RayCue customer service I was given the brush off and told to contact amazon. So I am calling Amazon today and requesting a return and refund. I am going to purchase the SATECHI hub and see how that works out.

Seemless installation and this little gizmo really added new possibilities to my Mac Mini. Lots of room now for peripherals. Installed a 1TB SSD so now also have a ton of space to help keep my Mac nice and tidy and spacious.I would recommend this to anyone wanting some more options for their Mac Mini M4. Thumbs up and five stars!

The device worked for about 5 days and then it just stopped working for no reason whatsoever. None of the ports are working and the SSD drive that I installed in it is not being recognized. I tried all troubleshooting steps that I could find online. Nothing worked. Unfortunately I missed the return window by 2 days and can not return it. I attempted to contact the manufacturer and they completely ignored me. This thing is a pile of junk and will not last. Avoid this thing at all cost.

This dock works exactly as advertised. The internal NVME storage is perfect for my audio samples collection. The HDMI port is connected to my 2nd monitor. And the rubber ring inset on the top holds the Mini in place if I need to touch the computer. Highly recommended!!Note: I previously purchased a different dock, highly rated (starts with M), but the HDMI connection would not wake from sleep. Always had to restart the computer to get it recognized. It also had 2 less ports and if I touched the Mini it would slide.

In the Mac world where we get fewer ports out of the box its gadgets like this that become necessary. This was incredibly easy to set up and provides us with more functional slots. It’s slimline and doesn’t add too much bulk to the mini either.
