The CMMT14104 has a limited lifetime warranty on the tool. Bits are not covered under warranty.

Q: what size are the replacement bits

This set comes with (4) bits that are a Phillips 1,2, 3 and a Flat/Slotted 8 &10 hex bit.

Q: My #2 phillips 5/16" shaft bit keeps breaking. Can I buy just #2 phillips 5/16" shaft replacement bits for my power driver?

All I can say is that all my normal bits do not fit in this tool. It's slightly larger than 3/8 bits. I believe 3/8 refers to the tool shank itself, not the bit chuck. I would imaging 5/16 would work, but I don't know and don't have any. I have had very little luck finding a bit to fit this let alone an extension to fit which is what it really needs for tight spaces. The head unit is fairly stocky and won't fit in tight spaces. Holds the provided bits fine.
