right from when i unpacked the razor and held it in my hand the first thing that came to my mind was, this razor means business.this razor is heavy, more than 100 grams heavywhich tells us about its awesome build quality. this may last for a lifetime. its adjustable for blade agression from 1 to 5 with 1 being the least agressive and 5 being the most agressive. so no need to have multiple safety razors for multiple agression level settings. its a 2 piece design so tightning and opening the razor happens from the bottom of the handle that adds more to the safety while loading and unloading a blade. its heavy weight means you dont have to apply pressure at all while shaving and the weight does all the work you just have to slide the blade on your beard. its also knurled across the whole handle so there is even less chance for it to slip from your hands.overall a terrific safety razor. can wholeheartedly recommended.PS - i was using bombay shaving company razor and i can say this is a massive upgrade from it. if you want to buy a safety razor for the first time i recommend you try this. you wont regret your decision as this can be very mild if you keep the setting at 1.

I normally don’t write reviews but I feel this definitely deserves some recognition. I bought this safety razor because of its versatility and customizable shaving options. I saw a bunch of reviews talking about this product’s performance and people oftentalked about how hefty and heavy it was, but personally I found it to be very evenly balanced from the stainless steel head to the brass handle, i actually expected it to weigh heavier and denser, but I’d say it’s the perfect balanced razor, not too heavy not too light.I got a 5 pack platinum premium Parker blade set along with it, so naturally I used it and I must say, one of the best shaves I’ve ever had, no nicks no cuts. Although it was slightly aggressive even at a mild 2 setting, aggressive yet smooth, I don’t know how to explain it better. So far I’m very satisfied, but if I had to add something to it, I’d say I prefer a more denser stainless steel frame instead of a brass handle as I personally love me a very hefty handled razor for that security of a safe shave, and for the second. I’d say the adjustable setting could’ve been placed up top so it doesn’t interfere with the screwing system, often with wear and usage the screw hinges would get slightly loose and it would challenge it’s durability in the long run.I’m satisfied with this purchase given the price tag, but if there was a new v2 to drop I’d prefer the adjusted setting to be up top . And a stainless steel handle.8/10 experience!

I bought this for my dad. Had to explain him how to use it. Eventually he got a hang of it. Doesn't use the feature of adjusting the blade angle muchm.It is a bit heavy and takes some time to get the hang of it and use it safely.

The blades are INSIDE the box, at the bottom. Initially I missed them. The product, is really excellent. Slightly longer than Merkur Progress 500 (which, I found, suits me better). The price is excellent. Highly recommended.

This was my first razor since I started wet shaving with DE razors. Had been using cartridges for so many years and always felt razor/skin burns till I read somewhere on DE razors. Saw a lot many YT videos before deciding to buy this. And boy! What a discovery! With cartridges being so expensive, I used to stretch its use to get maximum possible mileage resulting in a shave that worse than the day before. And I opted for an adjustable as my first razor because I wasn't sure what - mild, moderate or aggressive will suit me. So got this.A beautiful razor, one I liked a lot. With initial setbacks I found what worked for me and now I am at home with this razor. I also got a trial pack of blades to see which blades worked and which didn't. No complaints. The only drawback is the blade hangout on the sides. It's a mild-aggressive razor and works well for me at a setting of 3 and 2. Subsequently I also bought a Pearl SSH-05 (very mild and damn good for a beginner, very mild) and a Pearl Flexi Adjustable - I have reviewed that on the product page.I love all the 3 of my razors and use them in rotation since there are specific combinations of razor-blade which work together very well.I am quite satisfied with the Parker Variant.

When u spend high value on product u expect better functionsThe bottom function of razor for 1 2 3 4 etc is just a jokeYou can use a normal razor in similar fashion to adjust the blade position, what is something extra in this parker pls explainFunction is hopeless just a gimmick razor build is good with brass material.Very expensive for the product

The product is at best satisfactory for it's cost. Provides a mild-efficient shave at 1+ setting, so one can certainly say that rising numbers will climb to agressive shaves. The razor cannot adjust to setting number 1 with the blade in (hence, it will be 1+ setting). This needs to be informed by Parker to all or the item may be replaced.As can be with any bad Indian company they promise but are shy of providing on their promise-Parker did not provide five Parker Blades with their product. So there is no way to ask or get. But they ought to.
