Excellent soup bowls for the price, made in USA so the bowls didn't crack in half in the microwave and the bowls were cool to touch when grabbing, Excellent product.

These plates would absolutely fit my desire for lead free dinnerware. Unfortunately, they were damaged in shipping with sharp broken and chipped edges. A bit more care in packaging could help alleviate the issue.

Structure clear size

I absolutely love these bowls! They are thick and sturdy! They do not stack well unless you something between each bowl. I chipped on trying to get them apart lol. Perfectly sized for cereal, soup and all! Worth the price!

We've been using these bowls, along with matching dinner plates and salad plates, for over 7 years now. The set is great, with no breakage so far. We do use the bowls in the oven to make french onion soup and have not had a problem. They match with any place mat, napkins, or serving dishes. I will gladly use these bowls for another 7 years :)

I ordered this set of bowls to supplement a stack of nearly identical bowls I bought back in the late '90s. Those were extremely durable - I still had 6 of the original 8, having survived numerous moves and a few drops. The new ones, on the other hand, chipped around the rim immediately. Of the 12 new ones, only 3 are intact 10 months later, while the old ones are still going strong. As best I can tell, the chips are happening in the dishwasher, which is ridiculous as the dw is super quiet and gentle. I don't have this problem with any other glassware or ceramic dishes. If these bowls really were made by Anchor Hocking, the brand has gone way downhill. Find a different brand unless you want to pick glass guards out of your dishwasher, cabinets, floors, or unless you just like to live on the edge. I personally am tired of worrying about glass cuts and have to replace these. Too bad.

I recently discovered that Corelle plates made before 2005 contained lead in the paint so I immediately threw them out and replaced everything with glass, with no paint. It was between Anchor Hocking or Duralex. I chose this one because it was easier to obtain.The bowls are really nice and deep. I probably didn't need 12 but I figured why not, can always use extra if they get broken. I've been used to how nicely the Corelle stack together so I was a little disappointed that these are not the same. You can stack about 4 bowls at once so it takes up much more room in my cupboard than anticipated.The bowls arrived in a box that was not marked as fragile and as such some of them were completely shattered. Amazon sent me a new set with special instructions the next day and a courier to pick these up so not a big deal. I was really happy with the customer service.Other than the stackable issue I really like these bowls, the size makes them perfect for everything from cereal to soup and even using for mixing bowls.

Exactly what we wanted, good size and shape, good quality. Was fully expecting a few to be broken but for the price I figured we could spare a few but ALL 12 are perfect
