Learning XML: Creating Self-Describing Data

This text was the required reading for an intro to XML programming class that I am taking.I have had a little XML experience prior to this class, and can write HTML without a GUI.The book describes XML as simply as possible without over simplification. If you arestarting from "square one" with XML, I would recommend this book. Later, as you goon to more advanced work, you will need other texts. This is not any sort of 'bible' whichtries to be all things to all people.

Excelent book to learn XML. I use it to teach in class and it have many examples of XML, DTD, XSD... perfect for teach and studientes of TI.

This is a very clear book, well written. It is the ideal starting point for someone learning XML.Not a reference the way XML in a nutshell might be, but a better starting point.Both are often suggested as references for the novice in XML, but I found Learning XML much clearer and better at explaining why XML works the way it does

Der Autor erklärt in wirklich kurzweiliger Weise die wichtigsten Aspekte von XML. Auch für Nicht-Muttersprachler ist das Englisch des Autors gut verständlich. Gespickt sind alle Erklärung zudem mit amüsanten Beispielen.
