I grabbed the KNIFE PIVOT LUBE Original Knife Oil (10ml) off Amazon to keep my pocket knives in top shape, and it’s been a pretty great addition to my EDC routine. I’m no knife expert, just a regular guy who carries a couple of folding knives for work and outdoor stuff, and this oil has made a noticeable difference.The bottle is tiny—10ml doesn’t sound like much, but a little goes a long way. The needle-point applicator is awesome for getting a drop or two exactly where it’s needed, like on the pivot or detent ball, without making a mess. I’ve used it on my Benchmade and a cheaper Civivi, and both open and close way smoother now. For example, my old Swiss Army knife was stiff and creaky, but after a couple of drops, it’s moving like it’s brand new. It’s not magic, though—if your knife’s action is junk to start with, it won’t fix that, but it definitely helps good knives feel great.The oil itself is synthetic, and it’s designed to keep dirt and grit from gumming up the works, which is nice for outdoor use. It also claims to prevent rust and wear, and so far, my blades look clean and corrosion-free after a few months of regular use. The scent is mild, almost unnoticeable, which I appreciate since some oils can smell like a mechanic’s shop. This lube gets your knife working like it’s on glass. A couple of drops is all it takes. And it smells like cake. Good stuff.

I've been cleaning (restoring is too fancy a word) my grandfather's pocketknife, and oil was my final step. This was the PERFECT product for what I needed. After a couple drops in the joint of each tool the action is so smooth, this really made a difference. Unless you have dozens of knives, this is probably a lifetime supply. After grandpa's, I oiled the half dozen others i have, bottle is still essentially full. String recommend.

This stuff works great! After applying just a small amount to the hinge in my knife, it opens super smooth!
