EasyCare FounTec Algaecide and Clarifier

I received a bird bath fountain as a gift. I love it but it didn’t take long for the algae to appear. It’s not the easiest thing to scrub, plus you can’t get to the pump mechanism very well. After having to do this cleaning a second time I started researching for a solution. Of course I wanted something safe for birds. Fountec had a lot of positive reviews and was safe. It really does work!! I have not had any algae since I started using it. I will buy this again.

I use this for a fountain and a bird bath in my back yard. We’ve had sweltering heat here in South Carolina and even after a few days the water in the birdbath is clear except for any bird seeds that fall into it. When I change the water just add a đẹp or two that’s all it needs. Fountain also maintains its clarity. When I see evaporation in the fountain I add water and a couple of drops of this product it stays clear. One bottle will last a very long time.

Assumed this algaecide would kill off the brown algae that insists on growing on the coated metal if my shallow birdbath, but found it did not seem to touch it at all. The only thing that seems to have an effect is copper, and only where it is in direct contact with the brown gunk.I have now since scraped, blasted, and dried the birdbath surface to remove all visible traces. My hope is that maybe this algaecide will keep it from coming back.

Another brand required more product per use and was gone quickly. This one is concentrated and lasts a long time (for my 40 gallon tank)

This is the only stuff you need. I tried other products with no luck , But this stuff really works!

I have been using this product for about 3 summers now….in a 2tier fountain that gets sun and wind. This keeps the water sparkling with no algae or any yucky stuff growing in it. Birds and bugs drink it, all is well. 👏👏👏
