Pros:*Pretty easy to use* Great for hydroponics* Will absorb water and nutrients very well.Cons:*Not for starter seedlings or seedling/saplings plants (while attempting root establishing, better to use the smaller starter cubes so that the roots touch walls of rockwool.)* can cause root rot! ( to prevent this, I use clay pebbles as an additional medium in hydroponics.)

It's like a inch maybe a little more or at least mine was. Still it doesn't matter hope they work just as well.

Loved the cubes. Work excellent with clones... will buy again in the near future.

I used these before, then bought practico. With the practico I would dunk them in water and then go to shake out the excess and they held onto a lot of water in one area and not as much in another area. The grodan are consistent. You shake them out and the water is held equally through the cube.

Just like the title they are over prices but I intend to continue using this product.

Perfect for clones or hydroponics starts. Be aware that they will raise the pH up a little so keep a eye on that.
