Very practical last-resort tools for an emergency fire in an emergency kit or in a bug-out bag. The case is very tough and durable. Very lightweight. I believe only 2oz and these Uco matches don't really expire. They can be good for decades. For the money well worth buy an emergency kit or for a 72-hour bug-out bag. And can be kept for a very long time in storage. the value is very high and well worth the money.

Works great

Great matches, and wonderful case as well. It is absolutely water proof, and the matches burn consistently and very hot! I gave it four stars because the striker pads are very difficult to use when they get wet.The matches burn very well, and even will reignite MOST of the time after being submerged under water. The striker however has to be fairly dry for it to work. The case is waterproof however, so keeping the striker pads in the case will help with that problem.It comes with the case, which seals very tightly, leaving little doubt that you have sealed it. It comes with two striker pads inside the case, and one on the outside. The matches come inside the case, mine were in a plastic bag.I recommend these for any camping or survival kit. Please be careful with these after you have lit a fire as they do not extinguish until they are done burning. Camping stops being fun when your campsite is on fire.

I ordered these matches to go into my bugout bag. I like that they come in an orange, waterproof container. It holds more than 20 waterproof matches. The case seems more than durable and small enough to throw into your backpack. Hopefully, I will never find a time when I need them, but if I do, I have the confidence that they will perform flawlessly.

They work as expected. Tossed them in our storm shelter supply box.

Does exactly what you need it to do, light fires and stay dry. The case seems strong, but a little bigger than I expected.
