This is the only probiotic supplement I can say I’ve experienced noticeable benefits from. L. Plantarum apparently agrees with me. Better mood, less bloating. Two thumbs up!

I have tried dozens and dozens of bacterial probiotics and this one is at the top of my list. Last month when I could not get my usual probiotic on Amazon because they were back ordered I tried Swanson Lactobacillus plantarum. It outperformed my usual brand! Now everyone’s DNA and gut biome is different. So one type may help one person and not another. You have to try different strains. This one has been the best for me. I do not even have to add a pre-biotic like Gundry’s powder! One capsule at bedtime on an empty stomach with one gulp of water and the next morning, viola! If you need a little more help take it with the Gundry powder and Wolfgang Puck‘s black bean soup all for dinner. If that doesn’t fix you try Bifido Bacillus strains or B. coagulans strains. L. Plantarum is the best for me and Swanson has the best potency for me. I could not be happier!

Bought this to address what I suspected was histamine intolerance from overgrowth of histamine-producing gut bacteria. Started taking a few weeks ago, got lax and just started taking one every 3-4 days. Woke up this morning and realized that the chronic hives I've had for about 10 years are gone. Really happy about that. Come to think of it, my post-meal stuffy nose has been significantly diminished. Highly recommend for histamine issues.The fact that I'm not taking them consistently but still see benefits indicates to me that this strain has established itself in my gut microbiome, and this should be a lasting solution.

Got it to improve my aphantasia. It did help a lot. I can get flashes of mental images now. I'm hoping for improvement over time. I haven't finished my first bottle yet. Thank you.

My partner has horrific gas problems...to the point that he had to get up several times a night to belch. He didn’t sleep well. The gas would even hurt his legs. Even I couldn’t sleep well because of the constant noise. It took me forever to get him to at least try a tablet to see if it worked. Guess what? It worked perfectly and he takes them every day now. All my badgering for nothing.
