Perfect for what we needed. Very easy to fit and opperate.
I bought this switch for my sofa to move the seat in and out due to the manufacturer wanting £230 to come out to fit a new switch. The 5 pin plug fitted perfectly and I relocated the position of the switch to under the fabric on the sofa arm. Looking at the sofa you don't know it's there, the manufacturer were just going to face fix it so it would be horribly visable. All in all, the switch is just perfect for what we needed. With a gentle press it works extremely well, would highly recommend it.

Quick and easy d-i-y fix for my reclining sofa
The backrest/footrest adjustment my Parker Knoll Denver recliner settee suddenly stopped working in the partially raised position. My first concern was the motor had failed (which looks to be an expensive repair) but I thought before calling a technician I'd try and look at the switch. As long as you are physically strong enough to pull the settee (or chair) onto its front or side - to be able to disconnect the cable - this is something most people could try. With a thin flat screwdriver or knife carefully prise out the up/down buttons. There are two micro switches underneath. One of these made a reassuring "click" when pressed the other didn't so was likely to be the source of the problem. I removed the switch from the other side of the sofa (two screws and disconnect the DIN plug attached to the frame. Note: Tie a piece of string or similar to the plug before pulling it through; you can then use this to help feed the cable back later). The back and foot rests worked as usual with this other switch confirming a new switch was required. It would be possible to remove the microswitch and replace it with a new one but this whole unit was very reasonably priced so I ordered one, it was delivered two days later and everything is now working as it should. It matches the faulty switch and I'm very happy with it. Although finding the problem took a while (my explanation may help speed things up for others) once I had the new switch it took less than 5 minutes to fit and have everything working again.
