I needed to find a way to haul my toddler around amusement parks and looked for hours for a good solution. She's getting too big to sit on my lap for extended amount of time.We first used a wagon to pull her around but that made backing up super difficult and turning in tight spaces nearly impossible. I figured I'd give this a try and attach a bike seat in the back, and it actually worked!Daughter is 4 yrs old, we only used the seat; she held onto the back of my chair instead of the handlebars and rested her feet on the back of my scooter instead of the included footrest. However I was only able to mount 2 of the 4 screws as only 2 lined up properly. We used the parallel bracket that came with the seat and fastened that across for added security but even with the two screws it was super stable. Daughter is around 30 pounds and there were no issues. I had someone weighing around 80 pounds sit on it and it was still solid.Here's the seat I bought in case anyone else needed a solution as well. I saw one prior reviewer saying he was looking for the something similar.However I will say that I haven't had a chance to go to any amusement parks yet, just shopping at Costco and riding around for fun. This bracket was the same size as the receiver. It would not fit INSIDE the receiver. Had to stack and use "U" bolt to secure to scooter. Quality was good. Came with sever size pins.

Works great. Strapped on a milk carton basket and instant storage.

Why sharp corners ? They are not needed !I had to grind corners rounded to make it a little more safe !Why different size holes in square tube that plugs into mobility scooter ?I have to drill out to make usable !Why do i have to do all this work to make it usable ?

I was surprised at the tiny size. I was mislead by the photos and didn’t check the measurements. I can make it work but wish it was larger.Seems very sturdy.

Ordered two of these. Both showed up as RAW steel. NO PAINT or powder coat! Yeah I can see the rust dripping out the back of the 1" square tubing in a few years already. Nice idea and welds but good Lord not even close to a finished product! Beware, it's going to get ugly to finish as you won't be able to get paint inside the square tube to prevent rusting inside.
