These make quick easy inline butt connections, the connection seems very secure. Great way to interconnect different wire sizes quickly.

These work great when you have a panel replacement and the wires are too short or when you find that the last idiot in a receptacle or switch box with wires too short to function let alone meet the NEC code requirement to have wires that extend at least 3" from the edge of the box and must be at least 6" total length.These hold well and don't take a lot of space. Makes a wire lengthening task much neater!

These are amazing, no more trying to use wire nuts in tight spaces, they lock tightly with good connections.

I don’t always use these connectors, but there are time when i do and i have been pleasantly surprised by how well they work. I had a situation where a circuit that extended to the front of our property cane up about 6’ short of the panel. I used these and spliced in another equally sized wire and it has worked perfectly. The wire once seated locks into place. Even tugging both pieces of wire did not unseat the wires.I used them again when i had to cut a wire to add an attic fan into an existing circuit. By using these connectors, i kept both splices inside a 4” box and was able to keep everything looking neat and orderly.I was first concerned about them because the fan didn’t work...however, i diagnosed the new fan as having a bad thermostat. I shouldn’t doubt my own work, but it’s easy to assume something you don’t have a lot of experience with is the culprit.

Use these for installing wire mold. Not much room in the jbox and track for wire nuts etc…

After looking at other brands I went with these. Ideal is a well known brand! I needed to extend a couple service wires from a load center over to a sub panel and these were perfect.

Perfect for butt splicing where you don't have a lot to work with. Super easy!
