Perfect for acrylic
I bought this repair a broken acrylic drawer in my freezer and it worked great . This is not a glue. It actually melts acrylic together.. the joint it creates can be stronger than the original material. It also works perfect on polycarbonate materials.. I have built many explosion proof boxes out of polycarb thick sheets for Boeing using this Weldon product.

Great Product but be aware of gas buildup in the can
This product works well. It's extremely thin and evaporates quickly. It was difficult to unscrew the cap from the can but once this was done there is a snap-in insert in the opening that needs to be pried open. When I did this for the first time, the insert went airborne. I used the product and it worked. When I went to use it a second time, the insert popped again but not as high. Just be aware of this when you use it.It also dissipates very quickly. You must be fast when using the product. I used a brush to apply it to the acrylic that I was gluing. It evaporates instantly so I had to re-load the brush multiple times to get enough of the product onto my project. FYI.

Works well with acrylic parts.
I needed some glue that would work on some laser cut acrylic parts. This def does the trick. Drys fast and holds well. It is like water so it is kind of hard to work with, or there is a learning curve when using it. A little goes a long way so the amount you get is good and can last a while.

Great viscosity for tight bonds
I have friends that recommend Weld-On 4 because it runs less, but I like how Weld-On 3 just instantly fills all those tiny gaps. This stuff really does a great job. There have been some reviews about not being able to open the can. I too had the same problem when it arrived, but then I had a long think about it and realized that the lid may be crimped down. I looked at the can and sure enough, it had a lip just like a paint can. I whipped out my paint-can opener and it did the job. After prying up just a tiny bit as I worked around the lip of the can, I was able to simply twist off the lid.I read some more reviews that said that the product just evaporated because the can could not be sealed well. What I did was, after getting the cap off, make the tiniest of tiny holes in the lid (which has embossed lettering "cut away to open" or something like that -- I ignored that message and just used a knife to make a tiny hole) big enough to fit the hypodermic end of the bottle into the can.I just squeezed out some air, shoved the needle in the hole, tilted the can, waited 20 seconds, and I had enough liquid in the bottle to do my glue-up.Once done, the inside of the screw-cap has a seal on it that once screwed-down should prevent any vapor from escaping. However, to further prevent loss of product, I then stuck the whole thing back in the plastic baggy that it came in. Will update if the product has all evaporated in a couple weeks, but I do think that it will not evaporate as I was careful to put only a small hole and also to *properly* remove the screw cap without damaging its seal or sealing capabilities.

Not as advertised
Change your ad picture if that’s not the applicator bottle you’re going to send with your product. This needs a good needle applicator and the one pictured is the best for this application but I just opened my delivery and found this big cheap applicator bottle. I know there’s a huge pricing difference because I buy both types here on Amazon. This huge nozzle is useless I might as well spoon it out of the container. Lucky for you I need this now but I’m making sure others know that the precise needle applicator in the ad is not what you will receive!!!

mIssing applicator
I have used this product many times, and it works great—you just have to work quickly. Unfortunately, I have encountered some issues when ordering. One time, it arrived in a padded bag, got squished in the mail, and leaked. I don't think that was the seller's fault, though. My most recent order arrived today, but it was missing the applicator. Amazon informed me that they couldn't replace just the missing piece, so now I have to order applicators separately to use it.I still give the product 5 stars, but whoever handles the packaging deserves only 1 star or less.

Effective
This is a very effective solvent adhesive for Plexiglas and the like. Be aware that it takes skill to use it without getting it all over the place as it is very liquid. Drying time is minimal and you can hand hold it while it cures enough to set.

Works great on acrylic!
This stuff is great! I used it to glue some safety acrylic for a laser shield.
