Wanted these to replace my dumb SnugStat thermostats to enable voice control. These thermostats are a direct replacement on the mounting brackets, no need to touch the mains wires.Voice control via Alexa is via a very clumsy "Alexa, ask My Comfort House to...".The thermostats are not recognised as Alexa devices which means they can't be used in Alexa routines.There is no IFTTT integration, so they can't be controlled by motion sensors, window open sensors, etcThe app has not been updated since Jan 2019, and works intermittently. More than half the time it reports Network Error. Accessing the schedule via the app works for a few days but then doesn't.One advantage of the WiFi connectivity is that the thermostat software can be updated online. An update is installed after a factory reset, whether there will be future updates I don't know.I haven't managed to find a big name supplier for a better thermostat / app for my electric underfloor heating to give me the control I was expecting, so I'm just left feeling mildly disappointed here..

This is not a smart thermostat- the app doesn’t work at all. As a stand-alone stat its perhaps a 3 but certainly not what is described.

The app is horrendous, hardly worked on my phone now I'm left with no ability to control the underfloor heating remotely. If that was what I wanted I'd have bought a thermostat for less than half of what I paid for this.

The thermostat looks good but the app (my comfort house) is truly, truly horrific. Clunky, laggy, loses connection, hard to set-up, outdated, loses schedules, defaults to Chinese language every now and again. Struggling to think of anything good about the app….. but the thermostat itself looks decent enough. Just expect that the smart capabilities will be hit and miss.

Terrible. The app is very old. It looks modern but is not easy to use at all.
