Great apron for washing dishes very durable and the adjustable strap is great

The item is exactly what is needed. However, there were supposed to be two adjustable straps to fit in the holes at the neck and waste. Only one strap is enclosed, the one for the neck but not the longer one for the waist. I hope this review will result in the other strap being sent to me.

I donned this 47.2 × 33.5 in thick rubber apron and suddenly my sink felt like Fort Knox—no rogue spaghetti sauce or rogue paint splatter stands a chance. It’s so impervious that I’ve started pretending I’m a mad scientist mixing volcano-grade slime, just so I can revel in the sound of liquids pinging harmlessly off my ultra-shield. Who knew looking like a backyard superhero could make dish duty feel like a blockbuster stunt?

I've had this apron for about a week now and I use it every day. Right now, I am working in the produce section of a busy grocery store. My main job is cutting a lot of pumpkin, squash, turnips and various other dirty/messy vegetables. Among many other jobs where I was getting very dirty and wet all day long, every day. I purchased this apron because this job was destroying my work clothes, and the company aprons simply were not good enough. This apron is perfect and if you want to stay dry and save your clothes, I highly recommend purchasing it. I only bought one, to make sure it was what I wanted before buying more. But it quickly became obvious that one is all I will need for a long time. This apron is thick and very sturdy. It is completely waterproof as advertised.I'm 5'7 and I adjusted the neck strap to its shortest setting. With it like that, the apron spans all the way down to just above my ankles, so it protects all of my clothing (except my shoes). And at the end of the day all I have to do is wipe it down with a wet cloth and it's ready for the next day. I use a little soap with the wet cloth because pumpkin guts are sticky and gross, but if you aren't working with the same things I am, plain water will probably suffice.Two things I would say you should be aware of is (1) it has some good weight to it, so if you wear it 14 hours a day like I do, then you may get a little sore in your neck, back and/or shoulders. It isn't an issue for me since I've been a chef for 35 years and my body is already numb to these types of things. And (2) make sure you wash it - both sides - before you wear it as it comes with a white/grey factory dust that will get all over your clothes if you wear it right out of the package. I learned that one the hard way.All I did was wipe it down with my soapy wet cloth one time and it solved that problem.I recommend this apron for heavy duty dirty work and if this one ever dies, I will purchase it again. But I can't see this one being destroyed anytime soon. It will last quite a long time.

Used this Apron today at my job retrieving refrigerant. This is a very messy job. But saved my butt from being covered in refrigerant. This apron is awesome for the money.
