This is The Best Hair Brush/Hair Dryer I have ever used!
Ok first of all this thing dried my hair in 15 minutes! The attachments are so cool and helpful you get a Defuser,TWO different hair brushes, and 1 more attachment! 4 in one it is AMAZING! Works so well and it even helps me with my curling ability so that’s a plus! It work great on my thick hair so that’s amazing! The handle is a perfect thickness for my hands and it is Worth the cost!!!! A quick tip is the attachments get really hot so it is best not to detach immediately it might burn if you hold it too long! Love this item so much!!!!!

Easier Than Holding a Dryer and Brush
I was pleasantly surprised by how good I could make my hair look with this. I have really long, wavy, fine hair and have always struggled with styling it. My hair has a tendency to be frizzy and flat and I rarely care to put much time into styling it but occasionally buy gadgets that seems like they’d make it easier/faster. Usually, they take longer and/or are harder to use than I’d like so I may only pull them out for special occasions. This is honestly the first styling tool that I’ll actually use on an average day, sometimes when my hair is already dry but just to give it some volume and body, and to smooth the frizz. It’s really effective at doing that in just a few minutes if your hair is already dry. I couldn’t get over how much more volume I had and how easy it was to achieve it. I’ve gotten so many kinds of round brushes and blowdryers with the intent of getting so volume and body, but ultimately they generally go unused (especially the round brushes). However, I’ve used this gadget more in the past month than I have most others in years. I have a great flat iron but it takes so long to go over all of my hair and it makes it flatter than I’d like, it only gets used a few times a year when I want to really tame my frizz. I cannot curl my hair with a flat iron (I’ve tried watching so many tutorials but it just pulls my hair) and when I try to get more volume by blowdrying it, it goes flat within an hour unless I use a special product for volume. With this thing, the volume was still there two days later! I hadn’t even used any product besides heat protectant. I was honestly amazed and really impressed.Actually using it when my hair was soaking wet did take a long time, but it was a lot better if I let it dry naturally part way and then used the CHI volumizer. I honestly can’t complain about this though, since it gives me smooth, voluminous hair I could never achieve myself before. I love it!

One of the best blow dryers
As a hairstylist I have tried a lot of dryers. This is one of the best I have had.

It does the job but not as well as it could IF you want body and curl
Yes, dries my hair quickly. Got the Round Brush..prefer round over the oval. Oval straightens and flattens my hair more, so got the round brush. The smaller round brush still flattens my hair but not like the oval. It does put some shape to the ends. For me, part of the issue is the bristles of the brushDo not like the bristles, but do like the stiff plastic bristles with the ball of plastic on the end. I have had the stiff plastic bristles only on the brush with a previous dryer and worked really well. This current brush pulls out more hair, not liking that at all. Won't be returning this dryer as this is the better out of 4 others I have gotten and returned. If you have straight hair with no body, this will not give you more body and shape

CHI 4/1 Beats Revlon Hot Brush by a Mile
When I started looking for a great hot brush, I went and bought the one that started it all, Revlon's One-Step, version 2.0. While it did the basic job it was supposed to, there were still issues for me. Were they all this loud and hot? I played around with a few others at Ulta, and hit upon this sleek, compact CHI 4/1.Even on the highest setting, the CHI is just hot enough to give me a shiny, voluminous blow out without frying my hair or damaging my hearing, whereas the Revlon (at least for me) was like holding a loud, blazing baton over my head. LOL (See photo for size comparison).Quiet performance plus clever attachments (the ceramic barrel brush, but also a diffuser for curls, a concentrator nozzle and a very nifty paddle brush) makes the CHI, for me, a great value. And from what I can tell, CHI seems to have a decent reputation for making durable products. For my needs, this is a clear winner in the hot brush contest for more happy hair days, more often. Woo hoo!

Almost Caught on Fire
Gave this to my daughter as a Christmas gift. Four months later and the device almost caught on fire. My daughter could smell it before it caught and unplugged it, so now it’s useless. Didn’t last four months unfortunately. Maybe spend your money on other products.

Worked great until it didn't
Worked great until it didn't. Overall the drier works well. However a few months in, the attachments won't lock in anymore, which makes it really difficult to use. I expected to get more than a few months of use out of this.

Easy to use
Washed my hair this morning, had forgotten to pack a brush so I put on a ball cap and traveled all day. Tried the chi round brush for the first time when I got home on my dry "hat hair". Results in the pictures. Amazed. Downside is that it gets very hot. Next time I'll try the low setting.
