Men's Rogue Pirate Costume

I got this for my husband for Halloween. It fit well, held up, had all the accessories and he was able to play the part! Fun buy!

Hi. I'm Matt. I trust that you are greeting me as well.This is the first full costume I have ever purchased; so take my expectations for it with a grain of salt.All in all, this is a fun, decent costume for the price, and I have only one complaint: the size.(I am a slim HS senior; this review is largely for those fellow Gilligans across the nation.)You see, I was certain I ordered a medium, and I received a large. It worked surprisingly well except for--you guessed it--the pants. There I was at the pirate-themed costume party, getting compliments and feeling cool.... until I was helping another guy put away a heavy prop treasure chest and my pants gradually slid down, all the way to my ankles. Of course, I was wearing jeans underneath them; and I truly thank God that I was. Unfortunately, we passed by a room full of people (who didn't care if I had jeans on or not), one-by-one beginning to turn and say "Look at Matt! What happened to his pants?" and "His pants fell down!" and "THAT'S THE WAY TO DO IT, MATT!!"(sigh)Double check the size, wear real pants underneath, and get a couple of emergency clothespins to help your pants stay up, should the need arise as your trousers descend. Aaarrgh!!!

Looks great good material. A lot of these costumes would recommend.

Decent costume for the price, the pants and boot covers are decent quality. The vest/shirt combo was a little small ( Okay I am a large guy, 6' 2" and pushing 250 lbs ) It fit like a tight t-shirt, and it didn't look right so I cut up an old dingy white t-shirt from the closed and wore that underneath. I did rip one of the straps on the boot covers, they were a little small to go around the shoes I wore, but hat was easily fixed with a little hot glue and some black elastic I had on hand. Once it is all on, it looks pretty good, You definitely won't win any costume contests in this but you won't be the worst dressed pirate either. I did add a hat and a couple of more sashes.

Easy to put on and off.

This is a good costume for the price. Everyone thought my husband made a good pirate. The shirt and vest are actually one garment sewn together. It comes with boot covers, which are a nice touch. Just remember you'll still need to buy a sword! My husband has an extremely large head (normally wears an XXXL), and the head bandana still fit him. However, we were sent the wrong size costume. I ordered the plus size (48-52) and the size we actually received was a XL (44-46). We would have exchanged for the correct size, but we needed it for a party a day later. Fortunately, this still sort of fit my husband (height: 6', weight: 280, normally a 52 in Indian tunics but wears a 42 pant size). By sort of, I mean, he needed to wear an undershirt because the top was quite tight and the belt didn't fit at all. The strip of fabric for the waist still sort of worked though. I was a bit concerned the pants would tear, but we survived the party at least.
