No its not a problem I did the glass too came up great, an excellent product..

Q: what pad would you use for this

I just use a slightly damp micro cloth. A little goes a long way so just spray very lightly on the panels to avoid streaking.

Q: can you use it without a da polisher? can i hand buff swirls etc

It is a paint prep for polishing/waxing/clearcoating. I have used it with a micro fibre pad on my brand new car, which had a couple of extreemly light, isolated swerls and it worked lovely with a little patience. I then did the whole car by hand to get the summer film and old polish off. I then polished the whole car by hand with their hybrid polish and wow !! I did not want to dive in and lose too much clear coat. However, as the instructions say, it is designed for a rotary if you have a lot of scratches and swerls etc. Lovely to use and it does work. "Does what it says on the tin". Hope this helps. Recomended.

You Can use a different wax / sealant if you wish . Turtle wax ceramic paste wax is a good partner but I have used various others like Chemical guys 5/5 also . this is a good single stage paint enhancement product for swirl removal and final finish
