Q: My bottle did not come with a scoop. How big is the scoop (eg teaspoon?)

The scoop is approximately 1 & 1/4 teaspoons. It's best to start using the Inulin by 1/4 tsp and gradually increasing to the full 1 & 1/4 tsp (scoop). It is fast acting; if you aren't used to that much fiber, stay close to the bathroom. Just a tip I thought I'd pass on.

Q: very important to me to know if product is made in China. Now IS made in China so I will not buy it.

Uh, 'Now' brand isn't "made in China". Most all supplement companies source their raw ingredients from China, but they test them for contaminants, heavy metals, etc., before selling them here. To do otherwise would be ridiculous... This is sourced from Belgium.

Q: Does mixing the Yarrow Inulin in a hot drink like coffee compromise its effectiveness?

Nope! That's how we do it, and it's perfect - it has a light sweetness, almost a marshmallow flavor. Mixing with a hot liquid is the main way people ingest it, is my understanding. You just have to put it in the cup first and swirl as soon as liquid hits it so it won't clump.

(March 16, 2017) I just emailed Jarrow and they responded that the country of origin for their inulin powder is Belgium.
