Amazing Value for a Top-Notch Razer Mouse!
I was in a pinch while traveling and realized I’d left my gaming mouse at home. Needing a quick replacement, I ordered the Razer DeathAdder Essential with same-day delivery, bundled with a mouse pad for just $25. What an absolute steal for a brand-name mouse from Razer! This purchase exceeded my expectations, and I’m thrilled to give it a well-deserved 5 stars. The DeathAdder Essential feels premium right out of the box. The 6400 DPI optical sensor is incredibly responsive, making it perfect for both gaming and everyday use. Whether I’m navigating spreadsheets or diving into fast-paced FPS games, the cursor tracks smoothly with no lag or jitter. The five programmable buttons are a game-changer—I customized them for quick in-game commands and productivity shortcuts, and the Razer Synapse software made setup a breeze. The mouse’s ergonomic design is another highlight. It fits comfortably in my hand, even during long sessions, and the rubber side grips provide excellent control without slipping. The mechanical switches on the buttons feel satisfyingly clicky and have held up perfectly through hours of use. I also love the classic black finish—it’s sleek, understated, and looks great on my desk. The bundled mouse pad was a nice bonus, offering a smooth surface that pairs well with the DeathAdder’s sensor. For $25 with same-day delivery, this deal felt like a no-brainer. I’ve used other Razer products before, and this mouse delivers the brand’s signature quality at a budget-friendly price. It’s not overloaded with flashy features, but it nails the essentials: comfort, precision, and durability. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-performance mouse for gaming or work, the Razer DeathAdder Essential is a fantastic choice, especially at this price point. Highly recommend to anyone needing a versatile, brand-name mouse without breaking the bank!

Great mouse
The mouse works great, slides across my mousepad well and only having two buttons on the side is nice for simplicity, also I believe it can link up to the Razer app but I haven't done that yet

Clean look, sharp performance!
I got the Razer DeathAdder Essential (Mercury White) , and honestly, it's exactly what I was looking for in a gaming mouse. The 6400 DPI sensor is super responsive — whether I'm gaming or just browsing, it feels smooth and accurate. The 5 programmable buttons are a big plus for customizing my controls, and they have a satisfying click thanks to the mechanical switches.Comfort-wise, it’s great. The rubber side grips help a lot during long gaming sessions, and the ergonomic shape fits my hand perfectly. And let’s be real — the white design looks super clean and sleek on my setup. It definitely stands out in the best way.If you're looking for a reliable, stylish, and comfortable mouse for gaming or everyday use, this one's a winner. Razer nailed it.

Great budget mouse!
Felt great, arrived quickly, loved it. Gave to my sister as a gift for her new computer, she loved it too. Lasted her about 3 months before she got sick of the chord and tossed it. But it was a good mouse!

Wonderful value, but expect scroll wheel malfunction after 6-12 months
I've owned several Razer mice, none preowned: a DeathAdder 3500 back in 2010 that lasted ~7 years before it started clicking on its own, a Mamba Elite (wired) in 2021 that had just outlasted its warranty when the scroll wheel malfunctioned, and this white DeathAdder Essential, which lasted 13 months before having the same scroll wheel malfunction.Of the three, I like the design of this one more than the others. Visually, it's sleek, simple, and nearly symmetrical -- only as asymmetrical as is necessary to be ergonomic. In contrast to the black with green light, the white with white light is very pretty without standing out glaringly as a gaming mouse. Also, the inevitable buildup of gunk is visible enough on the white to know when you've fully cleaned it, but somehow less nasty looking than on a black mouse, in my opinion. Aside from the eventual malfunction (which I'll address in a moment), all of the aspects of functionality are perfectly satisfying to me. More serious gamers explain that better than I can. The volume of the clicks and scrolls is pleasant and within a normal range. For $20, this is an EXTREMELY good mouse.Others have described the scroll wheel malfunction, but in short, during a scroll the input is interrupted by movement in the opposite direction. Scrolling downward, it will jitter upward in the middle of the scroll, and visa versa. For office use and games where scrolling controls camera zoom, it's just an annoyance. For games where scrolling selects items on a toolbar, it's an actual problem. With the Mamba Elite, I had not known about the issue when I bought it, so I was very frustrated and disappointed, and stubbornly avoided getting a new mouse for quite some time. The malfunction got worse and worse over time. However, I bought this DeathAdder Essential fully informed and expecting to have this problem, with the logic that getting to use this mouse for only 6 months or a year is still worth $20 to me. I saw that folks had this scroll wheel issue as early as 6 months into use; for me, it just started this morning, 13 months into use. I came back to this page immediately to order another one. It feels bizarre to treat a Razer mouse as disposable when the ones I previously owned had been so incredibly expensive at the time, but $20 is $20. When the new one arrives, the old one will travel with me for office use on my laptop.Unless you need a mouse that will last for several years and/or you can't stomach throwing an electronic in the trash when it dies a premature death, I strongly recommend this mouse.
