This was easy to install. The tee valve could have been a better quality as there were metal shavings in it. Cleaned it out and no other burrs observed so used it. The tee valve does not have a shutoff. You need to read the installation steps to find what size drill bit to use to make the hole in the counter. It would have been nice to have a legend to tell you what specific tools and sizes to use as a quick reference or for those that may be a little less technically inclined. Otherwise, its easy to install. Flavour of water is great. I always liked my jug water filter from a major brand but this is way better. Ran 20 minutes after install before use per instructions. No weird aftertaste and no odours. Added a tee to connect my fridge water and ice maker. Same great taste from fridge as well and I don’t need to use the fridge filter. Has the most certifications that I saw for an under counter filter system. Highly recommended!

I recently upgraded to this water filter from a Watts unit, and about 2 months in, I am very pleased with my purchase. I do have 2 caveats. One, one of the connectors on one of the cartridges had a damaged washer that caused the unit to leak when installed. Contacted Aquasana and they sent me replacements immediately. Second, I did notice a very slight aftertaste to the water for about 2 weeks after installing it -- a VERY slight bitter taste that was barely perceptible. It persisted even after prolonged flushing of the unit, but after about 2 weeks, it's gone entirely and the water quality is hands-down better than any other unit I have tried. Although this is a "high-flow unit," I have noticed that the water flow is quite a bit lower than the Watts unit this replaced -- but, for the increase in water quality and additional impurities this one takes out, it is well worth it for me.

Según este equipo tiene buenas reseñas por la calidad de filtración, y puedo afirmar que sí sabe bien, pero no quedamos a gusto porque el flujo es muy poca. Toma un minuto y medio llenar un litro, menos de 1/4 de la velocidad que debe ser. Tenemos muy buena presión de agua así que no hay problema por eso. Hablamos con servicio técnico de Aquasana y después de intentar varias cosas nos recomendaron devolver el producto. Así que lo devolví y pedi otra pero tenia la misma problema!Parece ser que es un problema que han arreglado en nuevas versiones, pero las que tiene Amazon esta defectuosas.No pierda su tiempo en pedir esto.

I got a plumber to install the unit who ran twice to the hardware store to get parts. Though I paid for the service, I am glad and happy with the end result. I trust aquasana because I had been a customer for at least 10 to 20 years with the counter top unit. I upgraded to under counter because it leaked. Only wish is that it should be made in USA.

We ordered this unit from Amazon Australia as it was recommended to us. We had the unit installed by a plumber and it was leaking from one of the housings. The company is in the USA so we cannot get parts covered in Australia.We travelled to the US to see family and while there we contacted Aquasana and they were fantastic customer service and sent us another housing while in the US. We brought it back to Australia to replace the other leaking one. Unfortunately now the unit is leaking in the manifold and we are back where we started with a unit not working after paying for a plumber to install and shipping for parts in the US.I believe the company is good and the customer service in the US is great. However I would not recommend buying this sort of item from international suppliers as I have spent more time now than the unit is worth ($350) and its still not working and cannot get parts covered here.
