Educational
This is very educational and great quality. I bought this for my 14 month old granddaughter for her Easter basket. She already can put the lids on the birdhouses. I am working with her the match the colors together. She loves just playing with the birds and likes carrying them in her hands. She will pick up as many as she can carry.Value for money is good, ease of use is good. The whole set is really cute. She is playing peek a boo in the photo with the bird.

Great Learning Tool
My daughter loves these birds! She has fun learning while playing with it. It’s the same one Ms. Rachel uses on one of her videos. Quality is good.

Always A Win With LR Toys
I will never be able to express in words how much I absolutely LOVE Learning Resources toys. After having three children and experiencing many different toys, this has to be a top favorite for me. Here is why: By his first birthday, my son could identify these five colors! Then as his speech developed he began to say these five colors. Now we've moved on to the numbers on the little bird houses, 1 through 5. Sometimes colors on baby toys or books that are intended to teach them their colors are not exactly easy to identify as they are not basic colors. These are very clearly blue/green/orange/purple/red and so easy for toddlers to identify.-I would repeat the color throughout our play time with them and line up the houses in a row then the birds in a row.-I started showing him where each went, while saying the color several times.-Then emptied them and let him put them in the correct house.Sure enough, he was able to put them in the correct color then began saying the color. I could not believe how quickly he learned his colors. As a working mom, I feel so guilty that I am not spending enough time teaching my son but I am with these (and any other LR toy). It's an easy learning activity you can do with your toddler and you'll enjoy watching how quickly they learn their colors but also fine motor skills and coordination. This is a great gift idea for toddlers!

Packaging could be more environmentally considerate
Very cute and yes, we follow along with Ms Rachel but is the triple plastic packaging really necessary? The five birdhouses are in one big plastic bag, each birdhouse individually wrapped and the bird inside is ALSO individually wrapped. Come on.

Need a Yellow bird House to complete the set!!
I bought these to add to the nest and birds we already have from Learning Resource. Great toy just wish they had a yellow bird house as it's the only color missing to make these a perfect match.
