Great product! I could see why it might fail for some people who don’t prepare the trim before putting the product on. If you put a little effort into preparing the car before you put on the product it should work perfectly. I put the new trim on the car about a month ago, and it looks great with no problems. Thanks for a good alternative!

I have an 07 civic and around 2014 the plastic trim on the roof molding began to crack and fall off. Thanks to this trim I was able to just remove the rest of the plastic and place it directly over the metal molding instead of having to replace the entire thing.

This weatherstrip molding does not work at all, unless you work at a junkyard

I can't determine if these are better than nothing. I kind of think a good black matte tape would have been a better option. These are gloss black which is not what the oem style was. Nothing on the car is or was gloss black. They don't wrap around the molding so the fit and look is off, especially along windshield. It shows every ding that I didn't even know was there prior. The adhesive is good and stays on great though. I have been considering doing the tape over this molding so that it gets it the correct color and makes it fit better.

Will do the trick but is intended to go over existing molding. Not a solution if yours has dents in it. Product adhesive is not great either even with prep. Would not recommend. Better off going to honda nation or honda parts store and buying trims

Didn't work for my 2006 Honda Civic. I had a fading trim and this product had lumps in it and wouldn't stick to my car's trim. It fell off minutes after installation.
