Fits perfect the F700

I've used K&N filters in all of my vehicles (both 4 and 2 wheels) and I've come to expect a consistently high quality product. This filter was no exception.Install was relatively easy - it took me no more than 30 minutes to remove the plastics, pop out the battery and open up the airbox in my f800GS. The old dirty paper filter came out, and this dropped right in its place. Re-install the plastics in reverse order and go for a ride. I felt like it improved the sound, but perhaps thats just wishful thinking. At a bare minumum I have a washable filter with an unlimited mileage warranty.The filter itself came well packaged and evenly pre-oiled. The instructions were clear, and I referred to the service manual just to be sure I was doing the right things. You'll want a filter cleaning kit made specifically for cotton filters - it contains a degreasing cleaner (may be common across foam filters) and a cloth filter oil (which is different than foam filter oil).Depending on the level of soil, it can take 2 beers (10-45 minutes) to clean your filter. It then dries overnight or quickly in the sun and you hit it with a coating of oil let it soak for another beer (another 20 minutes) and you are ready to ride again in the morning.

I installed this filter on my 2013 BMW F800Gt, it fits perfectly and I don’t know if it’s my imagination but the bike feels like it picked up a little power. Highly recommend!

I noticed an immediate change, for the better, in power along the entire band. Top and bottom ends were more punchy, smoothed out the waves through the 5s and 6s, noticably improved throttle response, delivering power faster and more of it.Of course, this is a marginal improvement, perhaps 3-5%, which on a BMW F800S is at most 5hp and 3flbs of torque, but when you ride almost every day, small changes garner attention. So to be sober, briefly, this doesn't make a nag a racehorse, but it would give one racehorse an edge over the other.
