I love it! The sound is so good. I’m a senior and I didn’t have any problems setting it up. I use to have one that played many disc and thought they didn’t make them anymore. So glad this has built in speakers because I didn’t have room to add speakers. I can’t get over the sound. Great!

After reading all the positive reviews I purchased this cd player. Unfortunately the unit will not turn on unless I unplug it from power, plug it back in, & then turn it on. When I torn it off with the remote the only way to get it to turn back on is disconnect from power & reconnect it. It will not even turn on with the main unit power button. Real disappointment.

Works well but difficult to figure out. Remote has small buttons & isn’t easy to use. Sound is good. Good value for price.

Like so many others of my generation, I had quite a collection of CD's along with vinyl recordings. As time went on I quickly became a fan of a streaming music service for many years, but recently, had grown nostalgic for specific songs on albums that I'd not heard in years. Also sometimes a person just wants to listen to a whole album without having to go through a search process.Luckily, I'd kept my CD's and most of the vinyl even when we'd got rid of our old stereo system and large speakers (glad I listened to the inner voice that warned about parting with my collection EVEN when I wasn't listening to them after having gone fully to streaming options--"gasp"...I did dare to keep actual stuff I wasn't using). I purchased this CD unit specifically because it holds 5 discs and had recalled that Sharp had been a good brand years ago--turns out it still is --and I'm thrilled to be listening to my old collection again.

This is a decent system for those with a CD collection that they wish to have easy listening access to at home. Easy to setup and use. The power and fidelity of the built in speakers isn't great, but fortunately there's a work around. In addition to the feature that allows input from MP3 devices and USB storage, one can use the headphone jack as an audio output - I have a cable plugged into my Sonos system through an audio input box. Not only is the Sonos speaker much better quality, but of course the CDs can be heard in the various speakers around the house. Done the same thing with a LP turntable.

Wonderful additionThis was exactly what I was looking for. Fit perfectly in my cabinet and the sound is good. Allowed me to be able to play mymany CDs.

So far so good! Read a lot of reviews and concerns before making the purchase but found both the instructions and some of the review recommendations to be very helpful in addressing some of the quirks others wrestled with. Love being able to drop 5 CDs in and let it play for hours. Very good sound quality for the size of the speakers. Have not tried the Bluetooth or radio yet, but I did buy it primarily for the CDs and I'm very pleased so far!
